I was a little worried cause I’ve never did a Vrbo before, but everything was wonderful. Check-in was easy. The rooms were nice and clean. There was more than enough spices, saran wrap, kitchen essentials, even though we brought our own and Rhonda the property manager was always quick to answer any questions we had. And a lot of rentals didn’t have a pool. This one did and the grandkids loved it. Would definitely stay there again.

If you are looking for a vacation location. This is it. House is beautiful and well equipped. I love how the owner has all the rooms decorated. The house is very spacious and kitchen has everything you can think of and more. Loved that it has private pool. It is just steps from the beach (beach front). There is a general store right beside the house. Host and owner were super friendly and easy to work with and communication was outstanding. Our family had the best time and would definitely return to the same property.

This is a great property. Clean, spacious, very well stocked with needed kitchen items. Great pool. Great beach access. Our family has been renting homes at NC Beaches for over 20 years and this is definitely a family favorite. The property manager checked in on us…very nice!

What a wonderful place to stay with family! We use the pool nonstop and would go from the pool to the beach shower off get back in the pool all day every day! The house was comfortable well stocked and just wonderful!

Absolutely wonderful and amazing beach and home. Loved all the different levels and decks to view the ocean or the city on the other side. The pool was a very big plus!!! It was clean and we all enjoyed it. The kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen we have encountered. Plenty of dishes and baking pans, Our visit was during tropical storm Debbie. The house is well built and we stayed as there was only a voluntary evacuation. The property manager Rhonda Byrd stayed in contact with us the whole time. We were all fine and we played many board games the home has. Lots of books and movies for our boys. Our family truly hated to leave this amazing place. if anyone has a concern a call to the property manager is all that is needed. The house is close to the General Store but the best is that we were only several doors down from the Hershey ice cream store - awesome ice cream. That was dessert every evening! We highly recommend this lovely home for a great vacation.

We absolutely loved the house and location! The house and pool were spotless, kitchen has everything you could need! Property manager Rhonda was very responsive and pleasant, and quickly addressed a minor issue. Beach area a mix of soft sand and patches of shells and sea biscuits, which was perfect. Highly recommend this property and we would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our vacation with two young grandkids and all the family. The pool was lovely with the beach just steps away. Nice location. Convenient.

The property was wonderfull. The Fam included 3 generations 8 to 78 years and everyone raved about a beautiful house with pool on the ocean beach.

Our family’s stay at My Hiding Place was everything we expected. Pool and beach all day, everyday. Meals easy to prepare and enjoy in the kitchen/dining room or on the grill. Conveniently close to a general store for last minute items and to an ice cream store for after dinner.

3 generations met for fun in the sun. The kids enjoyed both the beach and pool. House was equipped with everything we needed. This was our second trip to My Hiding Place. Hope to be back next year!
