Oceanfront, two-level duplex with sundeck, washer/dryer, & central AC

Very comfortable and clean, plenty of room for our family (5 adults and 2 kids). Kitchen was well stocked. Longer walk down a private boardwalk to the beach but well worth the seclusion and space that the beach offered. Already planning our stay for next year.

Location was beach accessible, the house is tastefully decorated, beautiful shower in the Master bedroom and a huge walk in closet in the Master bedroom. Plenty of space in the living area for relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet.

A delightful family beach house!

The house was clean and was a short walk from the beach.

Home was a great size for a large family. We even have a little one and space to place his mattress or cribs inside the master. Lots of bath towels made showering nice with lots of girls too! Only item that would of been nice is there are no TV's in any rooms just the living room. Would of love to have TV's in all 3 rooms.

We loved the quiet, nearly deserted beach. The unit is large and had plenty of room for our nine guests. Very well equipped kitchen. Beds were all made and there were plenty of towels.

We had a wonderful stay Pawsitive Island Escape! It was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Overall this is a great property for a relaxing vacation. The bedrooms were private and comfortable. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

1/2 mile from beach access. Great use of space. Comfy beds. Well done interior. And they even had great amenities for our pups! You SHOULD stay here!

Home is wonderful kitchen is nicely stocked beds are very comfortable fenced in yard and grill are really nice. Short walk to beach it better to drive and pay parking. Fun town great area nice neighborhood

This is our second summer visiting this home and Oak Island and we love it! Clean, spacious and perfect for our family. Tons of great memories made here!

This is a brand new house with great amenities. It’s walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We have zero complaints.

This gorgeous and spacious ocean front beach home was perfect for our family! We had 3 couples and 5 children in our party and there was more than enough room for all of us! The beds were very comfortable. We had a little issue with the refrigerator but I contacted vacasa and they sent someone immediately to fix the issue. The location was amazing! The neighborhood is super quiet and it felt like we had a private beach to ourselves because it was so spread out. We will definitely book this home again! The only points I would make for families with kids are that the stairs are a little steep. There is no grill or air fryer at this location, we brought ours from home since the air fryer is life with our kids. Other than that, it's perfect!

We had a really nice stay at Pawsitive Island Escape. The home has a very calming, cool, yet modern beach atmosphere. The front porch is welcoming with two very comfortable rocking chairs. There's a large room with living area, dining area, and kitchen as we entered the house. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, and even an espresso machine. We enjoyed sitting at the island for breakfast and having coffee and snack time. The king and queen bedrooms were spacious, and the twin beds room was smaller but cozy. The hall bath was also a good size with a tub/shower combination. The primary bathroom was fun with a walk-in shower, double vanities, and a niche for the toilet. We have plenty of room to store our clothes and luggage out of sight in the primary walk-in closet. When we travel with our dogs, we try to find a home with an enclosed yard. This home didn't disappoint! Although a tad small, there was plenty of room for the dogs to run around, playn and do their business. The enclosed back porch was a good place to watch our dogs as they tried to catch the neighborhood squirrel that ran along the fence line every evening! We were very pleased with our stay and would love to come again sometime.

This was the perfect house for a weekend with our adult children. Everything was bright and clean and the kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and pots and pans. Although there was a lot of construction going on in the area, we were not bothered by noise at any time of the day or night. The walk to the beach is not long - about 10-12 minutes - but you do have to cross a very busy road, so we chose to drive and pay the parking fee when we had all our beach stuff with us.
