Oceanfront, multi-level home with beach access, views, game room, & elevator

This was a nice house but if you are renting it because of the elevator I would recommend another house.we rented because of that reason was not told it didn’t work. We have a Handicapped 26 year we had to carry up and down 2 flights of stairs the whole weekend called several times no one address the problem if was told ahead of time would not have rented it in the description it says elevator. Tv in bedroom wouldn’t turn on and dryer door felt like it was going to fall off reported those things too. It very Dangerous to make false statements like have an elevator that to me means working someone could get hurt it would have been a great weekend if not for this we paid good money for a house that had the accommodation that we needed and not provided

I didn’t read the reviews before booking and I’m glad I didn’t. We would’ve missed out on an incredible house! We make a yearly trip to Topsail/Surf City every fall and this is the best house we’ve had by far. The bedroom layout was absolutely perfect. The living room was large with plenty of seating. The kitchen was roomy and had everything we needed. I always bring a few of my things from home…just things I prefer. Everything was clean. The best thing for us was NOT having to bring towels and sheets. Every other house we’ve EVER stayed at, we’ve always had to provide towels and linens and that’s a pain. If you look hard enough in ANY rental you’ll see some flaws. Was it enough to effect our stay of my review? Absolutely not. If you lay on the lower bunks, yes the upper bunks have stains on the mattresses and need to be replaced. The bathroom door in the bedroom downstairs needs a squirt of WD40…not a big deal at all. The view is incredible and the beach is RIGHT THERE! This will be our go-to house from now on!

Home was plenty big enough for whole family. Only complaint I would have was no access to beach from 3 floor deck have to go all the way downstairs or through bedrooms to get beach access.

The house was spacious and beautiful. It fit our family of 19. We loved the oceanfront location and our week had some amazing water. We had little ones and the water was nice to play in along with tidal pools in the evening. The upper deck shows the sunrise in the morning and the sun sets in the evening on the back side of the house. The evenings were very nice to gather in the upper deck and visit. The house was chocked full of most everything we needed. There were some simple items like no baking sheets and no measuring spoons. Overall there was space for everyone and we had the air conditioning was great and the views spectacular. We want to go back!

Beautiful view, right on the beach, kitchen very well stocked and ready for preparing meals. Enough Bathrooms for everyone. Having a Elevator was wonderful!!

Our group of semi-retired quilters have been meeting here for several years to enjoy a quiet week at the beach in the OFF season. This house has been a nice destination and we always try to leave it cleaner than we find it - which is not hard. Everything in the house is dated and many things are old - like the dining room chairs, furniture, carpet, decorations, refrigerator and most of the mattresses. It’s never super clean and never is it “deep cleaned” - same dust and nerf ball on trey ceiling in main room (been there for years), excessive dirt and dust bunnies under curtains, furniture, etc. Still, the rental and “cleaning” fees are increasing and for us to stay for a similar week in November 2023, the total rental cost is 170% of what we just paid in November 2022. Maybe they are planning some renovations - but at that rate, you would expect a “luxury” rental with an enclosed, heated pool. So guess we’re looking for a new place. We had a problem with no water pressure in the 4th floor bathroom sink, and the issue was quickly resolved by a very helpful technician - so no complaints on the management team’s response or speed of service. Additionally, the communication with the management company is excellent. We really love the location and the layout of the house but simply cannot afford the future pricing structure.
