Oceanfront House - Sweeping Views and Lots of Space

The view and location are excellent. Cleanliness and overall maintenance are not. The master bedroom is decent but the bedrooms with carpet are a little scary. Very old carpets and beds. Two new queen beds in the bedroom above garage were comfortable but the room is in need of an upgrade. If you can overlook those items, the location on the best side of the beach are worth it.

We booked the property on VRBO, when we showed up to the house- someone was there already. The house was double booked by the owner King. We were 16 hours from home with no where to stay. They tried to stuff us in a DUMP that was literally filthy! We needed up having to stay in a hotel room before Cindy with Curry Realty so graciously helped us! An angel! I would never ever under any circumstances rent this house from King! He never even responded, he has his assistant try to rectify the problem!

The host canceled our reservation on this house 1.5 hours prior to check in on a holiday weekend, stating the house had been double booked. Our party of eight was gathering to celebrate my mother, who passed in April. In response, VRBO originally offered to give us one hotel room for one night at the airport, and refund my credit card. Totally unacceptable! As you can imagine this was a huge hardship as we were traveling from Colorado and Vermont to gather together in celebration of my mother. We made the best of it, but I would be very cautious when booking this house.

This location was perfect. We didnt have to worry about parking or packing a picnic lunch. It was easy commute from this beach front house to enjoying a day in the sand and surf of Pine Point.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, just steps from a quiet part of the beach with a great patio!! Walking distance to a few restaurants - Bait Shed was our favorite! The house itself wasn’t very well maintained and the property manager wasn’t overly prompt in his replies, but he did get back to us and was responsive to our requests. I’d hesitate to rent again despite the perfect location. We booked at a shoulder season rate so could look past some of the inconveniences, but would have been disappointed if we paid peak season rates.

Spent 2 weeks at this house. Excellent location, great deck and beautiful beach. We had a wonderful time. However, considering the price we paid, we expected a little better quality. Cleanliness was marginal, some bedroom furniture was very dated, knobs missing off dresser draws, stained mattresses, no umbrella stand, umbrella positioned between 2 bricks. Lacking some kitchen items, cereal bowls, coffee cups, baking pans. Section of a fence was down and glass broken on one window. Needs a bit of maintenance but excellent neighborhood.
