Oceanfront house steps to beach with private hot tub firepit and spectacular view

house is extremely worn down furnace doesn't work.Hot tub jets don't come on, Carpet stinks of dog urine . toasters only work outside burners lol. blood on sheets ,hair under sofas and in showers cleaning was horrible. Back yard ocean view grass was about 4 to 12 inches high in length.No access from house to ocean .You need to walk do street about 3 houses down and walk down a steep gravel path to beach sand not suitable for elderly . Not worth the money

Comfortable place to stay. Watching the waves was fabulous. The kitchen was well stocked, although some ice cube trays with a bin would be nice. Had some trouble with wifi but we survived.

TV didn't have any apps installed and had a security pass code to fix. We missed football on Thanksgiving with out of town guests who view football as an important TG tradition. We called for help and someone was supposed to get back to it but no one ever did. Several maintainance and up keep issues that were a hassle.

excellent response from the Vacasa host regarding our issues. The hot tub jets were not functioning and couldn't be fixed. The DVD player not working and we could not access our streaming accounts to watch any shows or movies during the rainy time. We could not use the outdoor fire-it as there was only 1 bench ( 3 shown in photo) there was a broken one and broken outdoor chairs. Fenced in yard for our dog was a plus but part of the fence not attached we temporarily fixed it ourselves. The actual rental is very nice, awesome views, nice indoor gas fireplace , comfy couches, nice kitchen and dining room and the beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach down the street for beach walks. We have rented from Vacasa on multiple occasions this place had the most issues for ourselves and our East Coast visitors. Thank you for the small refund we did receive but we feel it should have been more substantial .

Wasn't what/how it was advertised

I think the view was the best part! It was awesome! We could look out while in the hot tub Usually when we have rented a house the has at least salt. I was not expecting they would not. Another thing that was not there that I was expecting was the Bbq Grill shown in the photos when I rented it. We had bought groceries in mind for a Bbq that was Broken. I know this was pet friendly and I appreciate that. But, in the back bedrooms it smelled of urine.

We had a pleasant stay. House was cozy, had everything we needed. Loved being on the beach.

Thanks for a nice place, comfortable bed and fenced yard. We really enjoyed it. The sharp knives were a nice surprise too.

Overall, I was happy with the value for the rental given the location and the number of bedrooms/beds for 4 adults and three children. The bunkbeds were ideal to accommodate the children in one bedroom. There is a number of issues that need to be addressed to raise the overall rating to 5-stars. Maintenance issues outstanding: 1. Ceiling fan in front bedroom rubs the ceiling and is effectively inoperative. 2. Slider in the front bedroom difficult to close and has no screen. 3. None of the windows in the living room have a screen. 4. The refrigerator leaks water on the floor. 5. The microwave above the stove is broken. While there is a smaller replacement countertop microwave, with primary microwave broken there is no fan or light for the stove. 6. Bath/shower drain in back bathroom slow/backups a bit. 7. The PlayStation in the bunkbed room was a nice touch (retro), however the controllers do not seem to work.

This property is exactly as all the past reviews have noted. The house is located a short easy walk to the beach. The rooms are adequate and beds were ok. As have many other reviews of this property for the past several years, the place is not clean. The fan blades were crusted with dirt, and the bathrooms had mold and really dirty floors. And the shades in the living room still haven’t been fixed. I’d stay there again if it could be cleaned better and it makes me wonder where those high cleaning fees went, not maintenance for sure. The yard needed mowing as well.
