The decor is a perfect blend of relaxing beach vibes with exceptional comfort and quality.

The open-floor layout downstairs is great for keeping everyone together and making memories during your stay. On the lower level, there is a full bath with a Jacuzzitub for your enjoyment. There is also a half bath with a washer and dryer. There is ample seating and a large flat-screen TV with some local channels and streaming options. Please note that all of the bathrooms are on the main level. Whether you are coming back from the beach and need a rinse or want to enjoy a shower in the salt air, there is a private outdoor shower area behind the house.

Upstairs you will find a nice, bright, master bedroom with ample space and a comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom has a twin trundle bed that can be pulled out for the second twin, as needed. There is plenty of extra bedding and blankets available. Back downstairs, there is a Murphy queen bed stored behind the dining room table if you need even more room for guests to sleep.

Just outside, there is a nice large fire pit with seating. There are also reclining deck chairs to relax in while listening to the nearby Pacific Ocean. If you start walking left on Salal Place as you are facing away from the house, you will find a path on your right that leads down toward the beach. It is only a short walk to the sand and waves.

While relaxing at the cottage is always a welcomed option, you may also consider taking a short stroll to the award-winning Side Door Café for a memorable meal or enjoy the café-by-day / wine-bar-by-night options at The Red Roof. For extra pampering, a 3-minute drive will find you at the Salishan Spa and Golf resort while a few more minutes will get you to the charming beach town of Depoe Bay, known as the “whale watching capital of the Oregon Coast.”

The home was wonderful from top to bottom, and my trip was wonderful because of that. The large jacuzzi tub was my favorite amenity, and I took full advantage of it from the beginning of my trip till the end. There are few things nicer than soaking in a warm bubble bath while at the beach.

The house is fine and the description is more or less accurate (photos definitely catch it in the best light and leave things out but that's typical), but there's a fair amount to be desired in the condition. Both decks have loose boards that are essentially taped over with some kind of adhesive tape that a heavier person could definitely fall through. Also the main bed upstairs is old and soft, and the topper couldn't really disguise that. Communication was good, the house was clean, and check in was easy though.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, it was the perfect spot to visit a whole bunch of locations up and down the Oregon coast! We walked out to the beach almost everyday! A small cottage but perfect for what we were looking for!

I booked this under the impression this was through VRBO. However, this is managing through another group iTrip. Normally I wouldn't be concerned, but I get this sketchy email from iTrip informing of the rules of the property. They ask me to sign an addition consent outside of VRBO and inform me that they are going to be taking an deposit somehow. I was really unnerved by the fact that this other company has my credit card information or that VRBO shared it with them. Also, this addition fee was never listed in the summary from VRBO initially until after booking the stay. In addition the trip ended up costing almost 100 more than what VRBO has listed in the summary of the facility. Finally, the hours of check in and out are ridiculous. We couldn't check in until 4pm, no exceptions the email from iTrip said, and had to be out at 10a, which in the weekend we were there was on daylight savings. It was rough. The property was fine, but this working with two separate companies and having additional hidden fees and deposits is really not ok in my book. I will avoid any property that uses iTrip in the future. Renter beware, take my mistake as a warning.

The location of this property was fantastic! It's located on a quiet street, close to the beach and close to a delicious restaurant. It's a cozy space, but having two bathrooms was really nice.

Property isn’t as nice as what you would think from the photos on the listing. The outside deck and siding are weathered and the trees, bushes are overgrown. It was a little hard to find as we arrived after 9pm. Leaving an outside light on would have helped. Inside, it was clean, cozy and reasonably lit. The kitchen was stocked with almost everything you would need with the exception of ice. A couple of ice trays would be nice. The fridge was spotless. The whole place was nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable with plenty of covers for cool nights. Our weather turned out on the cool side so we appreciated that. All that said, the coffee maker didn’t work nor did the fireplace. I contacted the property manager by email and text message and while he got back with me with advice for the remote for the fireplace, it was exactly what I had already done. He made no comment about the coffee maker. I sent messages early in the day but it wasn’t until midday that he replied that he would send a team our way. No one ever showed. He never called back to find out how it went. We were only there 3 nights and 2 days so I wasn’t going to spend my time hounding him for help. Also, maybe it’s a clean crew issue or not but when I grabbed one of the 2 rolls of tissue paper off the toilet tank to replace the emptied one, the bottom of it was damp and had dark (mildew) marks on the bottom. The other one was the same way. I found a clean one in the smaller bathroom.

This little house is perfectly set up for a family of four. We didn’t cook in the kitchen but it seemed nicely stocked. All the upstairs beds were comfortable, bedding was nice and seemed new. The proximity to the beach is perfect and the outdoor shower was so useful for cleaning off the sand. Both bathrooms were nice and clean and functional. The optional additional bed is a Murphy style bed in the dining room. We didn’t use it so we can’t speak to the comfort of it, but the upstairs beds are very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was perfect, quick neach access, lots of room to hang out with family whole also taking a moment by yourself. We loved the jaccuzi tub and that there was laundry soap for multiple l9ads of laundry. My pnly suggestion would be to have a small bottle of oil for cooking there. But if you know then you can prepare. Love it!

We came to explore the Oregon coast last summer, and returned this year because we enjoyed it so much! Once again a wonderful experience and a great stay!

The front deck could use a cleaning and the back deck had a hole in it. The inside was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen items needed for a weekend stay. Need mats in the big bathroom. The outdoor fire pit was a perfect way to end the day.
