Oceanfront home with great views, deck, grill & beach access - dog-friendly

Can’t really beat location. The bay, the sunsets and a quiet neighborhood are all fantastic. The openness of the home provides room for everyone and still makes you feel cozy. TV instructions would be nice. New chair pads for the furniture would make it comfortable. Great to have a washer and dryer. Fabulous to be able to bring my dog to such a beautiful area. We’ll be back.

Our group spanned 3 generations. The eldest is wheelchair bound and was thrilled with the view. (The front entry was difficult to navigate.) Once inside,the home is open and airy with plenty of space. The beach was peaceful and we enjoyed a trip in the kayak. Being able to bring our dog made this location exceptional. We would love to return!

This gem of a home is located directly on the bay facing west so has amazing sunsets! The home itself is very comfortable, spacious and has everything you need for a perfect stay. It even included 2 kayaks! It is located close to all tourist attractions. The interior is dated and needs updating but is very beachy and comfy. Vacasa was great to work with and we appreciated their immediate responses to our needs. Highly recommend!

Loved the location and view! The house had a lovely beach theme and overall amazing. It was a little outdated but clean. 3 generations of my family thoroughly enjoyed our time and those sunsets.

This house provided great access to the bay, just down a staircase. Amazing sunsets! Great location with restaurants and grocery nearby. Quaint and safe neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Loved the view of the ocean from the deck. The kayaks were very fun. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Don't expect the Ritz, but for a beach house it's on point. As the listing states, it's right on the water (bay of the ocean). The tide does go way out for several hours a day leaving just sand, but many seem to like to walk out there especially with their dogs. Appliances could use replacing, but they worked just fine. The furniture wasn't the most comfortable, but you also didn't need to stress over the dog which I find more important. We didn't spend much time sitting in front of the tv anyways. (There is also a tv & couch in the basement). As a previous review stated, the porch was a little splintery. So, we brought a large outdoor runner which I left for other's to use. Just need to remember to keep the chairs on top of it so it doesn't blow away. The location was perfect. It was far enough away from other houses that you get plenty of privacy. About 7 minutes away is a Cumberland Farms for gas & coffee. Orleans is about 15 minutes away & has Stop & Shop, more restaurants and stores. Wellfleet has a cinema & drive-in during the summer. We also visited Chatham, Provincetown & Hyannis all less than 35 minutes away with more shops, restaurants, beaches & mini-golf. Do your research before you go & you will not be bored. If you don't expect a renovated space, you will not be disappointed. It was relaxing & enjoyable. We will be back. :-)
