Oceanfront Home with Dreamy Sundeck View, Walkway to Beach, Washer/Dryer & WiFi

A great house. I would and will come back,!

This cottage has a great layout and is very convenient to restaurants and bridge. The only negative was the mold. Cabinets in the kitchen and vents were covered in mold. It really needs a good thorough cleanse.

Decent little house would recommend for 4 people and not do much 6. Very close to beach, restaurants, coffee shop, and Italian ice shop. Enjoyed the porch a lot. It was cluttered….needs a good cleaning out of excess stuff from closets, drawers, and cupboards. No where to put away groceries so we cleared space in the hutch to put food into. Even though pics show futon and couches downstairs where washer/dryer is located, it is musty smelling so not a usable space if anyone would think there was from pictures. The bathrooms are very small, and the one has the tiniest sink ever in the corner.

The location and size of the home are perfect! It is my family’s favorite home away from home!

This house was very clean.The beds were quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for a meal, the location was very near several restaurants for those of us who like someone else to do the cooking. Thank you so much for sharing your home. We had an awesome vacation!

This house was almost perfect. Check in was easy. The door code was not our phone number so it was a bit long. The bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of space, not cluttered great tools in the kitchen. The home was not cleaned well. This is the beginning of the summer season it should have been clean!! We took our own sheets and after the first night we pulled of their sheets that felt like sand paper and noticed the gross sweat stained mattress pad so we washed everything and slept like a dream. The towels are also like sand paper. Just take your own because the home is great! We did rent extra golf carts because the one at the home you can only ride around the neighborhood into the beach. It is not road ready. Overall we had an amazing time. Oak island is now my favorite beach to go to. It’s a small coin town and everyone is super friendly.

Property was mostly clean - we noticed a few cockroaches outside which is fine/normal for the beach, but found one in the house which wasn't great... Other than this, the house was in great condition, clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The showers were great, outdoor shower and hose was nice, and the golf cart was a great amenity to get to and from the beach access. The AC worked well, and hot water was good, and the living room TV was nice.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful and the access to the beach is on point. The house is very spacious and feels very cozy. The only thing we would have liked better was for it to be a little cleaner. The table still had cup rings and crumbs everywhere when we got there. The bathroom had hair still in it from the previous people there and so did the bed. When we first arrived we went to use the golf cart and it died half way through the neighborhood and we spent a lot of time trying to push it back. Once we got back and charged it it then worked just fine. Overall the experience was great just a few things that could have been better. Thank you for letting us stay.

The home is perfect. Great view and the deck is amazing. Close to restaurants. Comfortable home with everything you need! 2nd stay at this home and hopefully we get to book it again!

Slowin’ Dune was a wonderful place to stay. We had a great vacation. It was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. There was plenty of natural light. Vacasa and the owner were very helpful with any questions we had. We made very good use of the bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, and especially appreciated the golf cart. We could ride bikes or the cart to the beach. There were places for them to park. Walking to the beach was easy too. There is a wagon for beach equipment. The Caswell Dunes neighborhood was truly nice. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Restaurants and stores in Oak Island and Southport were easily accessible. We heartily recommend Slowin’ Dune for a very enjoyable vacation.

Clean spacious home! 10min walk to beach or take golf cart for a quicker trip. Well stocked kitchen and laundry.

The property was new and in a very quiet spot easily accessible to the beach. The golf cart made traveling to and from the beach very easy and convenient. This section of Caswell was secluded and the perfect place to unwind. Can’t wait to stay here again. Can’t recommend enough

This property is in a great location allowing easy access to the beach and other area activities. Quiet community and the property is well equipped to allow guests to enjoy their stay. All you could ask for in a beach property!
