Oceanfront home with beach boardwalk, outdoor shower, decks - dog-friendly

Loved the ocean views from the large windows and balconies. The only real negative was the entryway. Almost impossible to unlock the front door so we had to leave it locked and go in and out the back way. The blinds on the main bedroom door going into deck is in bad shape and needs to be replaced.

We had a great time! Location is beautiful and the house has lots of space. I will say however that it needs a deep cleaning. Flat surfaces are dusty. House is dirty.

Only complaint master bedroom upstairs the outside lights of neighbors shines into the window even with the current curtains so might need to make some small adjustments. Other than that it’s a great place to stay!!!

It was so lovely the time of yr we went, as it was beginning season. But that view and the open space in the man room. The entire week, everyone just kept saying what a great house. There are soo many books to pick from I wish there were more for little kids. But this place is the perfect distance from food and shops. It’s not on the busy part of the beach. 100% will be booking again. Loved the kitchen and dinning space.. also Soo many Great restaurants and things to do with the family while there. It was fun to celebrate 2 birthday in this home. Thanks again.

Needs more kitchen utensils. There was only one baking pan to cook with . The master bedroom window on left side needs repaired . Light flickered every time dryer was turned on. Spacious kitchen ands master bath were great, Windows on ocean side were nice.

This house had the best selection of books i have ever seen in a beach house. Kudos to the owners!!!! So hooked by one book i had to purchase it so i could finish it at home! The windows were amazing, such a view of sun rise and the sunset. Gorgeous!!!

This is an older house with a unique design. The furniture is comfortable however it is outdated. The deck and stairs have been updated with weather proof materials. The beds were comfortable and adequate for our family of nine. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of room for our groceries. Having starter packs of soaps, paper towels and toilet paper is an added convenience. There is an outside faucet for rinsing off, however there is no enclosed outside shower. The house is conveniently located on the beach with a relaxing view of the ocean from the decks.

The location of the beach house was fantastic and I also liked that it wasn't a duplex or triplex because it afforded some privacy. With newer beach homes, I always feel like everyone is right on top of each other. Very dog friendly. Would stay again.

Couldn't ask for a better spot in Surf City. We walked the beach and the street to stores, dinner, and ice cream. The beach was private and quiet. The porches provide great view of the ocean and sunsets. The home could use a good cleaning and a few updates. There are books everywhere, so storage is a bit tricky. In its prime, I'm sure it was a gem. We enjoyed our stay.

The location is great and the home does have a beautiful deck with great views. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the home and with Vacasa’s response time when concerns came up. A text response came via text at 2AM on one occasion. The home was not well supplied - there were not enough glasses or cups for a group of 9 (plenty of plates though!)

The house was clean, plenty of room and has everything you'd need. It's within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the pier. We had a very nice meal at Daddy Mac's and the folks who run the pier are very welcoming people.

The furninshings were older but comfortable and cozy. The beds were comfy, too. The views from all 3 decks were fantastic and you can see both sunrise and sunset each day. Highly recommended for ocean lovers traveling with pets.
