Oceanfront Home w/ Private Pool, Roof Deck, Porches & Game Room -- Incredible Ocean & Marsh Views

We had 2 families having vacation together. Honestly, this is the nicest house on the beach! The neighbors were jealous since we had the only pool to relax and have fun in. The home is stocked incredibly well with cooking utensils, pans etc. the top floor was great to watch sunset, relax then go inside and play pool. The home is clean and each room is comfortable with nice furniture. We couldn’t ask for anything better. Thanks so much!

Beautiful home, but there was an issue that was not dealt with before, during or after that would make me not stay there again.

The ocean views and accessibility to the beach are top notch. If you want seclusion and privacy this location is great. The exterior of the home is beautiful and the views from every level are memorable. We loved the ease of going to and from the beach with children. Regarding the interior of the home - I would suggest maintenance is needed. There were signs posted regarding the interior stair railings stating to basically not use the railing due to it being wobbly and not secure. We had several small children on this trip and safety was a concern regarding the stair railing from the lowerlevel to the kitchen. There was visible mold on the lower level bedroom facing the ocean and bathroom it connected to (shower tile and vents). The closets smelled musty and kept the smell throughout our entire stay. There was a sign to not use the wine fridge due to a part being ordered but from the looks of the fridge it’s been a while since it’s been out of service. There was mold growing in this appliance. Simple paint updates are needed and since we stayed in May I would have thought the home would be in pristine condition for the start of the Summer season. We had to contact the host to come turn on the pool filter as it looked to be turned off on the breaker unit. Simple maintenance is expected when staying at a luxury beach front property.

Had a wonderful time at Wakita Wave! The house was a perfect place for us to celebrate my retirement with my family. Wonderful views of the sunrise from all the decks, Room for everyone to relax. And spending time on the beach and in the pool was just what we needed! Thank you!

This home exceeded or expectations! Sometimes pictures are deceiving but not for this property, it was just the way it was shown. Check in was smooth and any questions we had were promptly answered. The pool was at a perfect temperature what was amazing since in March we had colder temperatures. The owners even had a welcome gift set out for us. We were a party of 12 ladies celebrating the upcoming wedding of my granddaughter. We had an absolutely amazing time. We highly recommend this rental and we sure will be back next year…

Our family stayed at the Wakita Wave house from Monday, 2/16 until Friday, 2/20. It is a beautiful home. 6 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths. One of the most well equipped and beautiful kitchens in any vacation home that we have ever rented. And there have been many. Loved the huge dining room table where we could all sit together to eat. Did fun crafts and played games at this table. Swam in the heated pool every day although it was cold outside. Beautiful sunrises from the multiple porches on the house. Had a wonderful family vacation in this home!

The house was very accommodating for our large group, plenty of room for all. Parts of the house could use some cleaning and maintenance (banisters need to be replaced) but overall we enjoyed our stay even with the rainy weather!

This property is extremely comfortable for a large group. The ocean views are spectacular and there are marsh/river views from some rooms. There are two dishwashers and a wine fridge plus 2 two-bin trash cabinets making storage and cleanup much easier for a large group. The interior furnishings are comfortable; the!open floor plan makes it easy for large groups to congregate and participate. There is ample high-end outdoor furniture. Great property for big group of family & friends.

Great layout & short distance to beach!

Wonderful home for a family vacation. Open floor plan on 2nd floor kitchen and family room. Bedrooms and bathrooms galore. Pool was just right for post beach cool offs.

All in all Wakita Wave suited our needs very well. The layout is very functional and the kitchen well appointed. We especially enjoyed the location and the relative quiet beach. Two issues: the two street side bedrooms on the first floor did not cool properly and the alarm system was annoying until we discovered the offending device.

Our family of 11 stayed at Wakita Wave in Folly Beach. This house was better than what the pictures showed. It was so spacious and beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, the pool was refreshing and the private boardwalk out to the beach/ocean just steps away from the house was the icing on top. This was the best trip ever!

House had everything we needed. we had a great time and no issues. great house. great location.

Wakita Wave is flawless! My husband and I always rent vacation homes when we travel, and this gem is our new favorite, hands down! The home is immaculate, exceptionally well appointed, beautifully furnished, and the plunge pool and beachfront location cannot be beat. We are already planning our next stay. Absolutely stunning!

We just got back from spending our holiday at Wakita Wave and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home! The house is just as described in the listing - many bedrooms, many bathrooms, HUGE kitchen (which was great for our family full of cooks), great location, and wonderful views. The weather wasn't great for our stay, but we all enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach. We'll be back in the future for sure!

The house has a lovely location right on the beach with easy access and gorgeous views. The outdoor space is great and provides lots of seating to take in the views. At first glance the home is beautiful, but on closer inspection there are several items in need of attention - mold on doors and showers, dirty chair in the living room, evidence of a previous leak on the ceiling in the living room, etc. We were most disappointed that the a/c on the main floor was not working during the entirety of our stay in temps of 87 degrees. A tech arrived to fix it on our check out date, The size and.location of the house worked out well for our group, although there was some confusion as one of the beds is reported as a queen in the listing but appears to be a full.
