Oceanfront Home, Stone Steps Beach Access, Jacuzzi on Oceanfront Deck

A great place to relax and enjoy Encinitas.....house was exceptionally clean and neat.....easy to get around the area from this cliff-hanging location!

The home was older, but well kept up and very clean, and the location was excellent. Communication with the host was very easy. My only suggestion, not really a complaint, would be to upgrade the mattresses to something a bit more comfortable. Otherwise would highly recommend!

Great location! Had everything we needed, a beautiful view and great neighborhood with steps to beach nearby.

The location and views are unbelievable. The only problem we had was with pretty bad phone and WiFi coverage, which made it very difficult for me to work while there. If I hadn’t needed to work, it would have been perfect!

2nd time staying at this location for 2 couples. Home is very clean. Home is a bit dated, but don't let that concern you, its well taken care of. Great area for walking, view is amazing from the deck. The beach below is a short walk from the stone steps access nearby. Sitting on the deck watching the surfers was very relaxing, while listening to the waves. Lots of good restaurants in the area and whatever else you may need. Eileen was very responsive and easy to deal with. If I could make any suggestions; its still the same mattresses from our last stay 9 years ago and an update is needed; a bit lumpy for both couples. The home does have TVs, which is great, but the living room should have a larger one for viewing. And a martini shaker would have been great to have. All in all, a wonderful stay in a lovely home and neighborhood, and if we were in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Enjoyed the stay. The view looking out onto the ocean was incredible. Location was perfect. Did not seem to be a kitchen garbage can which we would have liked to have used. The house in the bedroom areas had a sewer type smell also.

The property is perfect for a family of 5. It came with everything we needed. The views of the pacific are unmatched. The house was clean and met all expectations. A hot tub on the deck was a highlight for our family. Great location boardering Leucadia and Encinitas! I would highly Recommend this property

We had the best time! The charm of the cozy and spacious cabin feel, backdropped with the Pacific Ocean. The warm fireplace in the living room, and the bright sun room, made it our favorite beach house stay yet. Stunning deck and views. A rainbow and dolphins! We noticed and appreciated every detail of this charming house - the pocket door, the pull out cutting boards. Everything you need will be ready for you. It is the first time we have ever went to sleep in a VRBO where it felt just as comfortable as being at a family home you were visiting. The kiddos love the bunkbeds! We hope this VRBO beach house will be around to book for many years to come, as we continue to make family memories at the beaches of San Diego county! Thank you so much - it was perfection!

We loved staying here. We’ve stayed at a dozen different places when we visit the San Diego area and this is our favorite so far. My kids agree. The house has character. It’s close to the places we wanted to visit. It was quiet. People we ran into on the street or at the beach were friendly.

We loved staying in this home overlooking the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed, we walked to Moonlight beach and town (about 1 mile to town). We had coffee in the morning in the front room overlooking the ocean and watched the sunset on the deck.

We had a serene time. Watching and listening to the ocean was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife to behold. We had a great time and hope to return next year.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and had a great experience overall. Eileen was super helpful, kind and communicative throughout the booking process and during our stay. The view from the porch was spectacular! We spent a lot of time watching the ocean. The house was very clean and tidy. One issue was the master bed, not very comfortable to sleep in for us. There was also an issue with the washing machine, but Eileen offered to fix the problem immediately when we let her know what was going on. The house is dated, has older furniture and carpet. All of the houses in the neighborhood are very close together, you can easily hear neighbors talking. Overall, a wonderful relaxing stay and we appreciated Eileen’s response time and help.

We arrived to a clean and organized home. Plenty of room for our family. Kitchen was stocked pretty well. Oils and seasonings aplenty. There was loads of clean towels and beds were clean. Tons of sitting space in every room to relax and listen to the ocean, some friends stopped by for dinner and the beach, we truly enjoyed this home. We would definitely visit again!

This is our 3rd time staying at this property. The views are amazing and we look forward to staying again.

This is our second stay. Great place for family. If you are looking for marble and gold, this is not your place. If you are looking for homey and relaxing, this is it. Thank you all - see you next year!

We had a great time at this beautiful house. The back patio overlooking the beach is amazing - we spent a majority of our time at the house out back. House itself is cozy and met our needs perfectly. Will definitely stay here again.

Our group loves this space. Always very clean. Has everything you need in the kitchen. Views are incredible from the deck and wonderful from the sunroom! If I wanted to be really picky I’d say that the mattresses could use an update. But I’m not that hard to please. ?
