Our family booked this house with another family and it was perfect and kid friendly, my 3 year old spent a lot of time playing and sitting in the recliner by the window looking outside and the beach access was great for the kids to go out all they wanted. We had plenty of space, used the washer and dryer, comfy beds, useful and well stocked kitchen. It was a joy, we definitely want to go back!

Beautiful views and spacious yard for the pups, but the amenities need some updating. For example, the couches and dining chairs were incredibly uncomfortable and quite old. The master bed was comfy, but the other beds were not. It's listed as an older home, which is correct, but it does seem that the furniture could be updated. The house was clean when we arrived, but we did find a cigarette butt on the deck and dog poo in the yard. Also, the garage was inaccessible. But the inexpensive price and the beach view and access made it worthwhile.

The home has a large deck which overlooks the ocean and has an amazing view. The beach was easy to access once you climbed over the driftwood. I was very disappointed to find this older home in a state of disrepair and it was disgustingly dirty. The property management staff were wonderful to work with and very kind and I really appreciated their help but the dirtiness of the home definitely impacted my comfort level during my stay and I will certainly not be staying there again.

Amazing ocean front view

We LOVED it here. Walk down the steps to the beach. Sit on the porch or inside on the couch to watch the ocean. House was comfortable and clean.

Beach access was overgrown with blackberry vines and brush. Was hard to get through the path to the beach. Beds were in poor condition and linens were slept in. After washing and cleaning my family enjoyed their stay.

Amazing view and easy beach access. We had a blast and would love to return. The propane was empty but no worries on that, oven worked fine. Really cool place.

The home was exactly as advertised. Beach access from the house was good and nearby beach access was excellent. Most importantly the house was ideal suite for our pups. We would absolutely stay again.

Great location! Great view of ocean. Loved going to sleep listening to the waves. Dining chair cushions need greater support; we sat very low.

This is a beautiful property. If the owner would only spruce it up it would get an excellent. Starting with the front door, it badly needs paint. Some of the electric outlets don't work. It would be helpful to have instructions on using the tv.The large bush which sits in front of the window blocking the beautiful view should be cut in half not removed.

This place is perfect for a getaway to enjoy the beach and ocean. There are steps down to the beach which were built firmly and strongly...we never felt nervous about taking them (some places have steps that are a little dangerous). Plenty of room in the house and the place is kept up well. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Another great stay at the Wollam Beach House. We love the great view of the beach, the brush has been cleared since last time we stayed. The access to the beach can't be beat, the staircase has been improved as well as the deck. We will be back!

The location of this home is great and the view is amazing. The large deck is perfect for bbq'ing and a peaceful place to take in the ocean air. Sunsets with beach campfires are highly recommended! Lunch or dinner at The Railhouse Pub and Grill is also a recommendation!!

The house was much bigger than expected! The adults could stay in each room and the kids could stay in their own wing!! The ocean view was amazing. The private beach was everything we could have asked for and more! Completely kid friendly. We would stay here again!

The setting was wonderful with a great view and beach access.

We noticed that not all the electrical plugs in the front room worked properly. We are a group of quilters who love to line our machines up along the windows and enjoy the view while we sew. We had to scramble to find a setup that worked with functioning plugs. The kitchen seems to need some items, such as a larger frying pan and more eating utensils. We appreciated that the twin beds in the downstairs bedroom seemed to have been upgraded. Ample towels and extra blankets were easily available. We love the view and accessibility.

Nice beach location. Plenty of space. Comfortable rooms. Lots of ants! Dirty windows obscuring ocean view. Old bad pans. Dull knives. No rubber spatula. We rent homes so we can cook there. No salt. 160 cleaning fee is excessive when we’re told to empty all the trash, wash the linens, deal with all the dishes in the dishwasher before we go. Water doesn’t taste good. Many rentals have filtered water. As a vet and former scout leader, I found the old tattered American Flag outside a bit offensive. It should have been “retired” and replaced long ago or don’t fly one at all…

Best location on the coast! Absolutely loved how private it was. House was spacious and cozy. Views were breathtaking!

It was a beautiful and fun stay! We could easily see the ocean from the big windows in the living room! Made for a great view in the morning with coffee! Overall we had a wonderful time would definitely recommend!

The place was ideal for myself and 4 friends. We were amazed at the view and sound of the ocean from the house. It was a comfortable house. We enjoyed the patio area every morning with our coffee. However we did have to go buy cooking oil, and salt for the kitchen but everything else we needed was available. We also bought cleaner and cleaned the scum off the bathtub and noticed dust bunnies and candy wrappers under at least one bed.Overall we loved the ocean view and location of the property. We had a total sense of privacy with the surrounding shrubs and trees. Plus we loved the private access to the beach. We will definitely return.

It was great, ,check in went well everything was clean. we had wonderful family time.

The house was a little dated but it was very functional and comfortable. The location and beach access was fantastic. The dishwasher did not work but the property management brought us paper goods to make it easier. The only complaint I had was the barbecue would not heat up and it would have been nice to have some deck furniture. We would definitely use this location again.

The house is in a great location with beautiful views of the ocean from inside the house and on the deck. Some things in the house need updating. The lockbox to access the key is a challenge to open. Some windows are new others need to be replaced. Barbeque is pretty rusted so we didn't use it. But the kitchen is stocked well with pots/pans, dishware, and utensils. The beds were comfortable. The beach access for us was fine with some driftwood to climb through but well worth the effort!

Beach front was amazing!! Check-in was easy, WiFi was good, Kitchen was ok, beds were good.

There is nothing negative to say about this house! Vintage charm, lots of room, and a beach! We were so sad to have to leave.

Our 3rd or 4th trip there. House still has funky electrical issues...i.e. the little bathrooms lights flicker when kitchen lights on.....dont uf something is plugged in. Biggest issue or complaint was beach access all but gine and was a big disappointment

Loved our stay! The property was perfect for what we like!It was a very private home and beach area. The view and location were perfect. The built-up driftwood at the bottom of the stairs did make it tricky getting to the beach. We made our way and cleared an easier path for our poor old dog. That area is the only thing we wish were different with this property. The driftwood has been building up for a very long time and it wouldn't take much to clear a path to the beach. It could be done once and would last a long time. Overall, though, we loved it and definitely plan to stay again.

We have stayed here 3 times and we love the house and location but the furniture needs to be updated! All the furniture is very uncomfortable and the beds are just as bad. The lights in the kitchen and half bath flicker or just don't come on some times. The second bathroom toilet plugs almost every time it's used. This house would be so much better with a little upgrading and repairs.

Excellent property and location. There wasn't any paper towels, garbage bags, the path to the beach needs to be trimmed. A few minor issues, otherwise we had a great time.

Property was very clean inside and out, kitchen was nice but cookware could use updating! Deck was newer with good views of ocean, stairs down to beach were fine but driftwood blocked easy access to the beach. Master bed was way to soft caused back issues for my wife and I. Other beds were good!

I debated about writing a review but after a week still feel disappointed with the outcome of our stay. I chose this house for the location and beach access. We stayed between March 26-28 and did not have beach access. I was not expecting bathing suit weather, but did expect to walk the beach and explore the area with the kids. None of which we were able to do. This house also advertises sleeping accommodations for 10. However after 2 kids showers the hot water ran out. We waited over an hour to give our last kid a super quick rinse off shower before bed as there was still barely any hot water. The next morning, my husband took a shower then the hot water ran out while I was taking mine. These were not long showers and I do not understand how you can advertise a place host 10 people and not have enough hot water to do so. (We are a family of 5.) There are also lots of plugs and light switches that do not work. It was so frustrating flicking on switches that did nothing and constantly trying to find a plug to charge a phone or laptop.Lastly, I find it a poor business practice to charge a customer for furniture destroyed and not replace it. The rug looked like it had been chewed, chair rungs looked like chew toys, and some of the chairs had rips right down the middle with stuffing poking out. I know some of these things may seem inconsequential, but there are so many others I could list. I feel disappointed and despite the amazing location would not recommend.

We had a great time. The house was clean, the view was excellent, the neighborhood was quiet.A few suggestions: fix the fireplace. The weather was cloudy and rainy and a working fireplace would have been very welcome. Also a few homey touches would go a long way.

We expected our teens to come as well but they were busy with sports and school. So my husband and myself got a taste of empty nesting. Beautiful spot! Love to return some day!

The house was much larger than expected and the beds were amazingly comfortable.. what a lovely neighborhood tucked away from the hwy and settled win with just a a perfectview from most rooms in the house. Being able to just walk out on to the beach was really important to us! The trail was easybut does require the ability to climb over some of the driftwood and wood debris provided by the ocean. . Not clearcutclearcut but only ahort distance that needs strategic navigating and agility to reach the sand, but totally doable!We cant wait to visite again! I have only one big recommendation the large bush that is right in the middle of the deck on the window facing the ocean management really should cut that out or remove it as it obstructs this beautiful view and looks out of place other than that nothing but great things to say about this home. Thank you so much again for letting our family sure your place together.

Between the beach at the property and all the viewpoints on the coast in between you can't beat it.

The view can’t be beat! The house was large and had plenty of room for our family to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to make meals for our large family. The beach was easy to access other then the logs you have to climb over to get to the sand… that can’t be helped :)

The house matched its online description. It sits directly above the beach and provides great views. All four of us are over 70 years old and were able to use private path to access the beach. The pile of driftwood does require some maneuvering to get through it. It was cold and rainy while there, so we wished the fireplace worked, otherwise everything was consistent with listing. Great value and direct beach access make this house a great choice.

will be staying here again. our new go to for visiting our family.

The home is clean and comfortable. Everything we needed to cook was available. We were definitely disappointed that the advertised beach access was completely blocked.Otherwise our stay was good.

Location right on the coast with an ocean view and easy access down to the beach — even in the midst of a winter storm — we found weather windows and relaxation easy to come by. Great jump off point for many adventures. We’ll be staying again!

This was our second stay at this location. Our daughter got engaged the first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This time we met a cousin and his wife for a week of relax and recharge. The location is fantastic. The house is comfortable. We did have a couple intrusive neighbors this time but not too over the top. A couple items we noticed: very poorr lighting throughout the house, the master bed needs flipped At the very least, and the hedges in front have grown so much that a lot of the view was blocked. Would also have been handy to have access to vacuum and mop. Overall a great place to stay though.

This location cannot be beat. Amazing for access to the beach and close enough to town. Would stay again simply for the location. The home is very outdated (listing photos are accurate) and the trail to the beach is quite overgrown. Does require climbing over lots of driftwood to get to the beach, so just fyi for folks who might not have the physical capability to do so.

The first thing you notice is the heavily rusted and decaying front door. The floor inside was so dirty that our feet turned black. the refrigerator was clean, but the cabinets were gummy and stocked with items that Goodwill would not have accepted. the floor in the northwest bathroom is soggy, and the soap tray in the shower has a 3.4 by 6 in gap, allowing the shower water direct access into the walls and subfloor. Someone outside our party had recently used the toilet in that bathroom, which never flushed correctly. The two pitiful deck chairs next to the rusted coffee table on the deck appeared ready to shatter and nobody would sit on them. The torchiere lamp near the picture window flickered so much that we unplugged it. the outside deck soffit lights were blown apart, exposing the live elements. The pathway to the beach was extremely hazardous and was strewn with giant logs that our elders could not navigate, so they had to stay in the house away from family. four of the dining table chairs were blown out and unusable. the HVAC filter was completely plugged and sucking inside out. There was an ancient collection of VHS tapes that were obviously gotten from a thrift shop, and one DVD. The problem there is that neither a VHS nor a DVD player was included. As experienced hospitality owners ourselves, in our opinion, whoever is managing this home, and by that I mean critically mismanaging it, should be fired. They are allowing this house to fall into ruin.

Ok rental for the price. A little dated and showing its age. Good value for the price. However, there are definitely a few things that should be addressed. 1) most of the electrical outlets in the living room do not work. 2) Many windows have leaked and become cloudy and difficult to see through, obscuring the view and just generally looking terrible. 3) the hedge next to the deck needs trimming. It provides no privacy function and obscures the ocean view when inside or sitting on the deck. 4) shower heads are mounted much too low. Even the after-market DIY shower head was mounted too low for an averaged sized person.

The location and views were wonderful. Very quiet neighborhood, and private. Beautiful views and very large house. Landscaping was lovely too. Would like to return next year.
