Oceanfront home 5 minutes to Acadia, 10 mins. to downtown Bar Harbor.

Wonderful house for our family of four visiting Bar Harbor / Acadia for the first time. The house was clean, well kept, and the check in process was hassle free. Location is terrific … convenient to both Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The views from inside and outside were beautiful … enjoyed watching the sunset shimmering off the water each night to close our day.

Nature lovers paradise! Loved the double sunrooms. Used them everyday to spot wildlife. Harbor seal, ducks and foxes come to the cove daily. Red foxes early in morning run through the yard. Harbor seal and ducks all day eating in the cove. Chipmunk came up to us while sitting in the chairs overlooking the water. Beach access was used daily to explore the rocky beach and walk in the cold water. Bring binoculars - you will need them if you take a wildlife cruise in town. House very clean and comfortable and I am picky. Host accommodated extra days that I added mid stay because we didn’t want to leave and gave a discount! BBQ pit works well. My family of 3 will stay here again when we come back to Maine. The house can accommodate many more people as the couches in sunrooms are also beds.

This home was the perfect spot for our group to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfy and the view was amazing. Would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.

The house sits beautifully between a nice yard and the water. We spent a good amount of time sitting in the chairs that abut the cove. The kitchen was very functional and all the furniture was comfortable to sit on. It was very peaceful and only minutes away from Acadia Park. We enjoyed the coffee bar that was set up next to the bedrooms. We even saw a red fox in the road in front of the house.

This was the perfect “Maine” house located on the water in a beautiful, quiet and serene setting. The house is so well appointed and had everything we needed. We loved all the touches of Maine throughout the house. Our favorite place in the house was upstairs with a great view of the water…complete with a coffee and tea bar! Outside, you will find 4 Adirondack chairs by the water. The location was perfect, allowing us to be in downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park in 10 - 15 minutes. Jacqueline is easily available and quick to answer any questions about the area.

Lovely lovely property! Well equipped and decorated! Kitchen great-nice pots and pans and accessories for cooking. The host was fabulous and we would come back in a heartbeat. All pix are from the house.

We could not say enough great things about this stay! It was the perfect home base for us to explore Acadia National Park. We enjoyed bonfires by the water, played games around the table, and had amazing views from the large windows. We had 5 adults and there was more than enough room for everyone! It was decorated so cute. Had everything we needed and more! Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Our stay was perfect in every way. We loved the property and found it exceptionally clean, organized, and cozy. The view of the lake is spectacular and the home is conveniently located to downtown Bar Harbor.

In the words of my 13 year old, our stay was, “Charming & beautiful!” In the words of my 9 year old, our stay was, “So amazing! It made me feel so cozy and welcomed! Great for adults and kids!” In the words of my husband, the property was, “Absolutely stunning!” I couldn’t agree more with my family. The property is perfect for a family of 4. The home is a nice mix of classic New England and modern updates. From the backyard, we marveled at the beautiful sunsets, enjoyed bird watching, and gazed in wonder at the stars. We enjoyed walking down to the beach. The property is the perfect spot to explore Acadia as it is very close to Acadia and Bar Harbor, but tucked away from the commotion and people.

This spot was magical and more than I even expected. The views were phenomenal, the house was comfy and tastefully appointed with every amenity, and the neighborhood quiet and peaceful, but close to all the action. We had a hard time leaving to go sightseeing. Jacqueline, the host, made everything easy. Can't wait to go back!

This home was all we envisioned. A perfect getaway for the 4 of us. Loved that it had its on private beach but close to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The host was very responsive when needed. First time to Maine so did not disappoint

This vacation house was the perfect spot for our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The location made it easy to explore both the park and downtown, while still feeling peaceful and quiet. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially appreciated the outside seating area overlooking the water, it made for beautiful sunset views! Cozy well-appointed and fully equipped property on a large private and peaceful lot sloping to the cove. Quiet location but very handy to everything the island has to offer! Host very accommodating, communicative & welcoming. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Beautiful location on the cove. Quiet and lots of nature to enjoy. Just a short drive to everything we wanted to do and see. Home was clean and was perfect for our family vacation. Loved having the fire pit for lots of family time and laughs at night. The coffee bar upstairs was great!

We loved our stay! Check in was a breeze and Jacqueline was very attentive and easy to reach. Kitchen was well appointed. We cooked dinner most nights. The grille and outdoor eating area had amazing views and was very comfortable.Loved being in the backyard. We made s’mores one night in the fire pit. After long hikes in Acadia we put our feet in the cold water. Our boys loved to skip stones along the shore.The house always stayed cool and comfortable, especially for a charming, stately home.Would definitely recommend the property, and will check its availability first on return trips.

If I could give this home (and host) more than 5 stars - I would! This place is an absolute gem. Beautiful and convenient location, so clean and so thoughtfully set up. It’s just perfection! You could not ask for a better spot to enjoy a beautiful stay in Maine.

I have not one negative thing to say! We had a truly awesome time here as a family with 3 young kids (6,4.5, 2). The house had everything we needed and more, communication with host was easy and pleasant. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy, light filled space. View was amazing, location couldn’t be better. We really loved this home and look forward to being back one day. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful house! We will never forget the breathtaking views, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, skipping rocks, and even taking a cold plunge! This was the perfect house for my family - plenty of room and so comfortable! The pictures do not do it justice - it’s perfect! This was truly a memorable family vacation! Thank you for everything! We loved our stay at this cozy, seaside-themed home just 10 minutes from Bar Harbor. It was perfect for our family of five — comfortable, clean, fully stocked kitchen and right on the water with gorgeous views. The fire pit was a great spot to relax after hiking nearby Acadia trails. Really nice house in a great location. I’ve stayed in a bunch of places around MDI and this ranks as one of the best. The yard and views are fantastic, the house had everything we could have wanted, and access to both the park and town were super easy.

Don't be put off with the limited number of reviews for this property. Jacqueline's home is a terrific vacation rental. We found it to be as described and pictured in the listing. The bayside of the house is very bright thanks to the walls of windows that overlook the cove. The house is very clean, even the blinds had been dusted (but who's checking?) We have rented a lot of VRBO homes over the years and this one was the cleanest. The kitchen is well equipped -- we cooked in for four nights and everything we needed for food preparation was there. The beds are very comfortable and the towels are plush. Plenty of beach towels are provided. We enjoyed looking at the water and beach outside of our door. The beachis easily accessed from the house and you can walk quite a ways during low tide. Jacqueline was a great host -- she responded quickly to email and texts. We contacted her one evening because of a problem starting the dishwasher (turned out to be operator error!). She was there in 15 minutes to help. I would definitely recommend this property to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jacequline place in Acadia. Her place is tastefully decorated, very clean with all the essentials provided. My communication with Jacequline was very prompt and the check in/ out process was super easy. We loved the location of the place as well. Only about 10 minutes drive from Bar harbor and being right by the water with beautiful views from the house was refreshing. There is a barbecue and fire pit available in the patio and in the back yard of the house. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others as well.
