OCEANFRONT, Heated Salt Water Pool, Elevator--Safe, Clean & Near Boardwalk

The property was everything that was listed. Very well stocked with everything you could need. The weather was colder than we expected but the pool has an excellent wind break fence so the grandkids were able to have fun without freezing. The owner checked in a few time just to make sure we had everything. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

Everything we could ask for! Great host, location, and all the best amenities. Now the challenge is finding another week available for us to come visit again ;)

The house fit our three generational family perfectly. Even though it was Christmas, the weather was warm enough that Melinda turned on the pool heater which everyone enjoyed. The house nicely decorated for Christmas and she even had a basket of ornaments for us to use. Only glitch was the elevator which was very finicky. It added a bit of a challenge to some activities. Worthy of 5 stars if elevator had worked.

Great place. Clean and well stocked. The view, ocean front and the pool, amazing. The house was spacious and comfortable, with the added extra of an elevator!Melinda was quick to respond to questions and always helpful.

House was great. Weather was a little cool the first couple of days but it warmed up and we were able to enjoy the pool. Will definitely look at staying here again

everything we needed was supplied, we did have to purchase more toliet paper, but other than food we had everything we needed. We cooked every night, so we ran out of dishwash detergent for the dishwasher so did dishes by hand. Everyone had a great time.

Amazing property! Our entire family baby, kids, parents and grandparents had an amazing time! Great access, pool, all the amenities are included just bring your clothes and go buy groceries! We can’t wait to return

Lots of pool toys, games & toys for the kidsWe were very glad for the beach supplies, elevator to move our belongings in & out of our vehicles. The amenities made me feel like I was at home, and had everything thing I needed for daily life! The owner is responsive and helpful. The beach access is a dream. Our extended family enjoyed this wonderful house on the beach! There were 13 of us (8 adults and 5 kids) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Carolina Beach. Check in was very smooth with the lockbox entry and there were 4 additional keys inside that we could use during our stay. We all loved swimming in the pool and spending time at the beach that is only steps away! The setup of the house was excellent and truly had everything that you would need - beach chairs, shade for the beach, towels, sand toys, coolers, pool inflatables, boogie boards, and more. The kitchen was large and was well equipped with plates, glasses, plates, cookware, slow cooker, air fryer, etc. We also used the gas grill that was available for use. There are amazing views of the ocean from each level of the house and large balconies to enjoy the view from. We also enjoyed going to the Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach State Park, went near shore fishing, and checked out the nearby shops and restaurants. Melinda (host) was always very responsive and detailed to any questions that we had. Thank you for everything! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Our family enjoyed staying at this property and would stay here again. I would like to add, however, for those with mobility issues please beware that you will need to use public beach access because the access from the house is incredibly steep. It was mostly fine for us, but I can see how it could be a challenge for others. Still, this is a fantastic property!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was amazing and the home was absolutely beautiful! I have to say, out of every beach home we’ve ever stayed in, this home had EVERYTHING. From the kitchen being fully stocked, linens/towels, even beach towels, beach chairs, pool toys etc etc, we lacked for nothing! My family and I kept saying, “wow, they literally thought of everything!” Truly, such a great place! We will definitely come back!

Was a great stay perfect for families with kids, all bedrooms are quiet not close to each other. Just dissapointed air conditioner not working on first floor friday at check in until Monday. owner did not offer 500 back for inconvience

Wonderful views, perfect beach, clean heated pool, fantastic furnishings…good books and video selection and plenty of kid toys for inside and outside fun. We stayed 11 nights and only ate out twice. Completely stocked kitchen and outdoor grill were enjoyed by all.

My family and I took a spring beach vacation together and had a great time at this property. It was as advertised and the hosts were wonderfully kind, responsive and helpful. Everyone was sad to go and we cannot wait to return. We really don’t think there would be a need for a Florida ocean vacation ever again!

It was perfect for our 3 generations of family with lots of room indoors and out, with a spacious, well supplied kitchen and eating area. The pool and surrounding area had plenty of chairs, lounge chairs, stocked with beach towels and kids toys etc. The view of the ocean from 3 decks is wonderful and it’s a short private boardwalk to the ocean. The home is immaculate and well cared for and we hope to return!

Just finished our annual stay for NYE in CB. Immaculate house with everything needed. Couldn’t ask for better location or better views.

Our family came together for a lovely retreat at this vacation home. The home was beautiful and decorated for the thanksgiving holiday. The home was spacious and inviting! Would love to return in the future! The host was responsive via email and text!

We loved the house and our time together. Unfortunately, the weather , 18 inches of rain did hamper our time at the beach. I would definitely recommend this property.

The property was beautiful! The house accommodated my family perfectly. We loved the pool and being ocean front. The hosts made sure to make handicap accessible options for myself. We can’t wait to book our next trip there!

Let’s just start with, WE WILL BE BACK! Everything about our trip made it a 5 star experience. Countless core memories were made by all and this was the perfect first experience of the ocean for our kids. The house is immaculate, and literally the only item we couldn’t find were chip clips, which was fine… because we ate all the chips. Great views, responsive hosts, and heated pool. What more could you need?

Our stay at this oceanfront home in Carolina Beach was fantastic! The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, and the house itself was clean, cozy, and very well stocked. Even though we were there during Tropical Storm Debby, we still had a wonderful time. The host was kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. Honestly, I almost don’t want to leave a perfect review because I don’t want anyone else to discover this gem! We want to keep it all to ourselves. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at Fun in the Sun . The beach views from the were incredible with easy access to beach. The hosts attention to detail for their guests was evident throughout the property which makes this place exceptional . Everything you need for a beach vacation is included --towels, linens, beach towels, chairs, sunshade, beach toys ,games , boogie boards , blown up pool floats, all super organized. Well equipped kitchen and welcome kit with some household essentials. Everything was top notch and hosts communications exceptional to ensure everything was in order. We can’t wait to come back !

Our Place in the Sun was the setting for my family's wonderful annual hang. Although it did have some minor issues, like ants and a clogged showerhead, I am overwhelmingly grateful... On the beach; ocean views; nighttime family hangs on the balcony; daytime hangs in the living room watching the Olympics & playing Euchre; Texas hold 'em on the dining room table.
