Overall, great place to stay for the price! All concerns were addressed promptly by host. Check-in was easy. Interior of property was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. Even though this is a townhome with rentals on either side, we never had issues with noise or the beach feeling crowded! My only gripe is about the furniture and security. The patio furniture is just plastic chairs, no tables. All the beds and mattresses are very cheap and uncomfortable. Seating for dining are metal stools with no backs. Almost all sliding doors are only secured by wooden blocks, as the latches are broken. The curtains are all very thin and provide little privacy (which is concerning when you have connected neighbors sharing your beach access).Kids and adults loved the gaming table! Host is great and very clear with expectations. We would definitely stay again with some minor upgrades

This was the best vacation ever! The location, the amazing house and the kindness of the host! The week was so relaxing and the house was so comfortable! We made the best memories this year! This was our first time at topsail and it is definitely our new favorite!

This is everything we wanted in a beachfront property. The house had what we needed and the beach was Topsail perfect. We were so glad she had beach chairs and boogie boards. The shark teeth hunting was top notch. If you need to run to a store, it’s so close to Sneeds Ferry that it’s a breeze. We couldn’t find part of the coffee maker on our first morning but Beth had a new one delivered lickety split. Best communication I’ve ever had with a host. I Was worried about being able to hear the neighbors with a shared wall but we never did and we had people on both sides. Would definitely stay here or at any of Beth’s properties.

It was very comfortable. Great location beautiful beach. When we arrived we short a set of sheets. I texted the owner Beth and she immediately responded. Sent the sheets right over. I will say the shared bath tub was a little outdated. But everything was clean well decorated. I would definitely stay there and recommend to others to stay there as well.

We always enjoy our stay in Topsail but this was our first time staying north of the Sneads Ferry bridge. The peace and quiet we found at this home were unmatched, with sweeping ocean views from all spaces (save one bunk bedroom) and few people on the beaches. Our dog loved chasing balls on the open sand! The house was clean, the new decking, carpet, and laminate flooring were beautiful, and everything worked just as it should. The only downsides: (1) no dining table, but we made the bar spaces work for the two of us, and (2) no pantry space, so we had to keep most of our food on the counters. We would stay here again and recommend this to other small families.

My family had such a wonderful time staying at this home on the beach. Everything was comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed.

Great spot for our spring break trip with our kids and puppy. Easy access to the beach, great Master suite, plenty of deck space. We had great weather so didn’t spend much time inside. Well stocked kitchen and starter products. Super easy checking in and leaving. Would stay again.

You can't beat the location. You are right on the beach. The views are amazing. The shelling was awesome. We did do some fishing right off the shore behind the rental. We caught everything from a stingray to a shark. The only negatives about the rental are... It would have been nice to have been updated that they are working on building a house two doors down. Definitely woken up to construction every morning. They also worked until dark. Not very peaceful. The king sized bed was also very uncomfortable. I also feel like the listing should inform you that there is 4 flights of stairs to get to the master bedroom.

It was a well deserved vacation. Home was clean and well cared for. The only communication that was needed was the owner giving me access instructions . You have great views of the ocean from the living room and third floor master bedroom. The room with the queen bed doesn’t have a great view because of the dune. It was still nice to sit and listen. To me it was definitely worth it Be prepared for a lot of steps. I really loved that we could walk from our place right onto the beach.

This was our second trip to the Ocean Bay Pearl & it did not disappoint again. You really can’t get any closer to being on the beach, the water comes right up to the steps! It’s the perfect time of year to visit - quiet and relaxing. Our family & pups enjoyed themselves the whole week! Beth is super sweet & extremely communicative. We will be back when time allows!

My husband, children and I spent 4 nights at this property in early September. The location was excellent, views are amazing and the beach is nice and wide even during high tide. The entire building (4 units) is pretty run down on the outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior. The home was clean and well stocked. Unfortunately it could use a deep clean (smuges on walls and hand railings etc) but I know we visited at the end of the season and likely there hasn't been time for that. Things I would point out; the mattresses are thin and springy, there was no plug for the big tub in the master bath, there were no oven mitts in the kitchen, the kitchen door is very difficult to open, there are no tables on the porches despite one being in the photos. Overall, we had a good stay. We had what we needed and most importantly we were ocean front. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, no frills vacation home.

Great spot right on the beach with easy access. It easily accommodated family/friends including our 2 year old. Loved the rooms all had ceiling fans. Very spacious master bedroom. Check in process was very easy. We cooked dinner almost every night in the kitchen. Not far from good restaurants. Really enjoyed our stay.

Private access to the ocean. Stunning sunrise views. 2 decks on the sound side. Well appointed kitchen. Beach gear. Quiet and peaceful!

College roomie trip

This was a great property to stay at and the entire family had a nice time.

Beth has a great home right on the beach. You can’t ask for a better location! No problems at all with our stay, Beth was very easy to communicate with. Only “negative” about the property is that it has a shared staircase and deck walkway to the beach with the unit next door. Our neighbors for the week weren’t very considerate of others and left their beach gear along the walkway. Also had a noisy dog that wouldn’t stop barking anytime we were outside on the middle balcony. If you are lucky enough to have a good neighbor you will absolutely love your stay!

Nice house, good location. Would rent again.

Everything was so convenient, clean and great beach access love all the decks and game did become a hit!
