Beautiful duplex cottage with great view !Despite a few stormy days the house was a great base camp for spending time with our family. Full of amenities to keep us entertained: games, movie tapes and multiple covered decks to enjoy. The beach view from the house was beautiful.

This vacation property was truly a home away from home! It was extremely comfortable and homey, stocked with every possible thing we could need in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. For anyone travelling with little ones below the age of 10, this is the perfect place for you! There were tons of toys and books for the children, as well as beach toys and extra beach towels. The beach is a mere 20 second walk away, making it easy to run back and forth as needed for meals, diaper changes, and naps. Everyone felt that they had plenty of space and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking at the house and exploring the nearby Kure Beach/Carolina Beach areas. The homeowners were very easy to communicate, accommodating, and thoughtful. This was our young daughter's first trip to the ocean and we had a blast! We hope to stay again soon!

Serenity offered the perfect getaway! It’s a beautiful property with a loving family feel. Tom and Anne are wonderful hosts, great with communication and have a home perfect for families.

Great time for the whole family! We love this house and have come back many times now. The only thing is the bed and sleep sofa are a little outdated and uncomfortable. The rest of the house, the town, and the weather were perfect. Can’t wait to come back next year!

The PERFECT place for a family beach vacation!!! It's a beautiful house, clean, modern, quiet, fully equipped, easy to get to. It has *everything*: sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, fully stocked kitchen (and I mean FULLY), a grill, washer/dryer, games, puzzles, and tons of toys for kids. Even a Pack & Play! We didn't have to bring a thing for our grandkids (4 and 14 months), they loved it. And there's an elevator! Beach access is quick and super easy, and the owners provide all the beach stuff you need: chairs, umbrellas, toys, towels. And a back porch to hose off the sand before going inside. There's plentiful parking, including a one-car garage with an opener. There's a Publix about a mile north, very nice grocery store. The owners are great! Very quick responses to questions, super helpful and friendly. The best. Have food left over? Leave it - the owners give it to local agencies. Wonderful people. The whole family will love this place! I'd give it 6 stars if I could :) We're definitely coming back here. Enjoy!

This is a lovely house and accurately described in the listing. I’ll just note that in addition to amenities that other reviewers have mentioned, the elevator is a wonderful perk when you’re hauling luggage to the upper floors. Also, the beach is wide and clean, the sand is smooth, and the dunes are in good condition. The owner called us before our stay to discuss a very minor issue that had come up, then checked in with us after our arrival and was available by text throughout our stay, although we had no need to make further contact.

This is a beautiful beach front property in Kure Beach but within walking distance to restaurants and coffee cafes in Carolina Beach. We were a party of 4 adults, all in our early 70's. The listing description is very accurate. We enjoyed walking on the beach and neighborhoods. Everything we needed was there and the owners are very responsive to any special needs you may have. We highly recommend it.

My husband, 3 year old twins, and myself visit Carolina/Kure beach area every year and typically stay at the same house. However, this year our house was booked so I expanded our search and stumbled upon this gem! Great location, beautiful views, so so many toys for kids! My daughter even left a couple stuffed animals at the house and the host mailed them to us! Will def be coming back next year. Tips about the place: so many toys and high quality beach towels, beach chairs…don’t bring your own save the room! Also for grocery delivery from Walmart to this location use Carolina Beach as the city instead of Kure! Thank you Tom for everything!

We loved our stay here! Lots of space to spread out. What made it really special we’re all the toys for the kids, books, games, and puzzles. Loved the boardwalk beach access and would definitely consider staying here again!
