Oceanfront, dog-friendly home with hot tub, beach views & waterfront decks

We saw the mixed reviews, but really wanted to try it. We have stayed at many places, but this is the first where we felt there is so much untapped potential and some neglect in one property with such an incredible view. I shared this comments with the rental company, but received no response. The hot tub was not usable due the water color, smell and its contents. I understand the starter pack idea, but its not reasonable to be provided 1 kitchen trash bag for 3 nights/4 days for 4 people when we cooked nearly every meal. It would also be nice for the starter pack to include laundry soap as ours did not. We ran into issues with showers and hot water the first night and through the rest of the stay. The 2nd story en suite shower head does not work correctly so we were unable to use it. When anyone is taking a shower on the 2nd floor, there is very little hot water available on the 3rd floor. That includes any sink, shower, or dishwasher. The TV in the 2nd story king ensuite is broken on the screen and unusable. You can only tell this by turning it on. We really hope that someone, possibly the owner, will see the house for its potential and provide renters with a options worthy of the house's location, price and view, like upgraded kitchen cooking supplies and pans, non-peeling cabinets, and newer king size mattresses. It would be funds well spent given the beautiful view.

This home was in a great location! The beach was beautiful and not very crowded. Right in the middle of the island for easy access to Surf City or Sneads Ferry. Our family had a wonderful week at this home and we hope to be back next year!!

Perfect location and room for family & friends!!

Wonderful property. We would stay there again. Only recommendation is to do something to make sliding glass doors in bedrooms easier to open. Other than that perfect!

This is an incredible house, layout and location oceanfront. It needs to provide basic TV services and we would return.

The hot tub was great but the house itself needs so much. The washing machines spin cycle was broken, no usable mops or cleaning products to clean up the floor. Moldy shower curtain. No oven mits in the kitchen which made cooking a real challenge. We have stayed in countless rental properties all over the world and honestly this house needs more attention than any of them

This wasn’t one of our best properties that we have had in the past. It was just okay. Needs all new cookware, beds were not comfortable, master bathroom shower really didn’t get it to work how we would have liked. The washer did not work, wouldn’t spin the clothes therefore dryer couldn’t get the clothes dry. We are already booked next year for another house that we really like.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. We loved the location, views, and privacy. Only let down was the outdoor grill which is unusable and needs to be replaced.

We did, great house on a very private beach. .25 to beach access and no campgrounds which means wide open beach.
