Oceanfront dog-friendly home close to sand with views & private hot tub

While it is nice to have rentals that are pet friendly this necessitates more vigorous cleaning between guests. The dog hair on the sofa was disgusting. Also, there was so much sand in the sheets of several of the beds that we were able to scoop it up in our hands.In addition, there was a storm in the area of our original rental two weeks prior to our stay that rendered that area unusable. However, rather than letting us know immediately, we were not notified until two days before. This resulted in a lot of stress and stole time from my family who had flown in from out of state while limiting our options of available rentals.

Could have been a bit cleaner, especially in kitchen area. No trash bags available. A starter kit with dishwashing soap (by hand, not machine) and coffee filters would be good, as would some dish towels since linens are provided. Some in my party complained that the beds are too hard and pillows too fat, but I was comfortable with what was provided. Overall it is a beautiful home in great condition and the location is perfection!

Overall, we had a great experience. The house was clean and very well taken care of. Beach access was easy. The only issue we experienced was that we were not notified at check in or check out that we had to go to the club house to get and return the keys so I had to reach out to customer service to find that information.

Vacasa is so hard to deal with. The hot tub was broken and a man came to replace the hot tube the day we checked out.

Hot tub was nice. Lots of room. Lots of ocean front rooms and views. Beach access from the house was difficult and sometimes impossible. No place to hookup the hammock.

We loved this. It was a comfortable place for a family of six and it had a wonderful ocean view.

Big beachfront property with 5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. First floor is storage with some beach toys and chairs, second floor is bedrooms, 2 full baths and washer and dryer. Third floor is living room, raised sitting area, kitchen and three sets of tables and and chairs and half bath. There are second and third floor decks facing the ocean with tons of chairs. Hot tub is on the second floor. Incredible view with house mere yards to the ocean. A short path through the yard and you are there. We loved the many books, puzzles and games in the house. There are two regular drip coffee makers but no filters. The water in the house did not smell/taste good to me so we bought drinking water. We did use the ice from the ice maker in the freezer and it didn't seem to change the taste of drinks. Tons of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, plates, bowls, and serving ware. Absent were any spices or seasonings except salt and pepper. Usually these things are collected from person to person but not in this case. Nothing in the fridge either so be prepared to bring your own ketchup, mustard, etc. They were more generous with toilet paper than other houses I've rented but only provided 2-3 trash can liners and dishwasher tablets. The dishwasher and the washing machine ran but did not work well at all. The hot tub was warm and worked great the first time we used it, but cold the second time even though it was still obviously powered on. Incredible, beautiful location. My only complaint: check in.

I work remotely and this gave me an opportunity to have some downtime with my husband and my parents. Beautiful weather in February and super quiet!
