Oceanfront cottage with private beach walkway - views, sundeck, central AC & W/D

Overall the house was great! It was clean, peaceful and very comfortable. I did not want to leave. Oh and the beds were pretty comfortable too!

House is older but a great house. I love the big game room with large tv. Kept the kids happy and we weren’t sitting on top of each other. The house is close enough to the ice cream shack and we walked down every night. It’s also close to the beach. What a great vacation!!

House was wonderful! Clean, awesome unobstructed view of the ocean, well stocked kitchen. Plenty of extras included for the beach. Quick and easy walk to the beach and pool. Highly recommend this house for families with children. Half a mile walk to Sunset slush and Ocean Boulevard coffee and other surrounding restaurants. Super clean with modern updates. 100% would recommend!

We stayed for a few days and enjoyed our trip immensely. It made for a great home base with beautiful views, a quick walk to the beach, or a short drive to any restaurants or shops we needed. The home is well-equipped and comfortable, with just about anything we needed. Thanks so much!

Our family fell in love with the charm of Holden Beach several years ago and have stayed somewhere new every time we visit. This year we chose the Shark Shack and it did not disappoint! This place was BY FAR the best appointed of any home we’ve ever stayed in hands down. The owners thought of absolutely everything we could’ve possibly needed and then some. From ziplocks to luggage racks, hairdryers, extra linens, scissors and tape. There were pots and utensils galore - it was just like being in my own kitchen! For the first time in quite awhile, Mama Bear was able to relax instead of worrying about frivolous things such as how we were going to prep big batches of shrimp or ears of corn for dinner. It was all covered. Ahhh-making!! The best amenity.. a wagon! It made the beach runs unbelievably easy!!! We enjoyed having game night playing and reading selections from the in-house library. Most of all we’re grateful for the memories that’ll be cherished forever. Thank you for sharing your home with us!! ❤️ We will be rebooking the Shark Shack again! 🦈

We had a lovely stay at the Shark Shack. This was our first visit and we picked the RIGHT house. Perfect location on Holden. Convenient for all the amenities that are offered, coffee shop, seafood, etc within walking distance as well as close to bridge for a quick drive to the Food Lion And ocean was views were beautiful from this house Quick easy walk to a beautiful beach! We had a very relaxing week at the beach!!

From the time you walk up to the bedrooms and then up to the vaulted ceiling living and kitchen area ( where you have an ocean view, your vacation has started.
