We rent Saturday to Saturday.
Great get-a-way in this quiet ocean front cottage with a large south-facing deck on 3 private acres. Beautiful views. The cottage is 600 feet from the shore. Lots of lawn area, great tide changes, sandbar, birding, and mud flats. A child's paradise for exploring. Clamming, fishing, and birding are popular. A beach pass for all Maine State Parks (for carload) is included with rental. We rent Saturday to Saturday.

Stayed Aug 24, 2024Daughter and son in law and baby stayed at this place while wife and I camped nearby. Stayed nearly a week. House and property are lovely, great view. All necessary amenities are there, owner nearby, very nice, helpful. Thanks Jeff, full thumbs up from all of us!

Stayed Jul 8, 2023This place was perfect. Everything you could need was there. Beds comfortable and all linens provided. The view from the living room window was perfect. Amenities were more than expected. Close to plenty of hiking,beaches and lots of geocaches for those who geocache.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022This cabin was a great home base for daily trips to Popham Beach. We also loved exploring the sandbars out front at low tide, hiking at Wilbur Preserve, and exploring Fort Popham and the public beach.

Stayed Jul 23, 2022We had a wonderful stay and Jeff and Lorrie were fantastic hosts. We enjoyed having easy access to Popham Beach and an easy drive to many other fun places to explore mid-coast. The state park pass was a big plus as well.

Stayed Aug 14, 2021The house was well furnished with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We really enjoyed going to Popham Beach and the Bath Maritime Museum.

Stayed Aug 7, 2021My family (2 kids - ages 4 and 7) was looking for a cottage to serve as a base for a week while we went to Popham Beach. The location was perfect for that, comfortable, and the view from the living room window was beautiful! The only downside was the mosquitoes made it difficult for my family to eat outside. But we understand it has been a very wet summer and it was clear the owner is doing everything he can to get the mosquitoes under control. It’s also an easy trip into Bath or Brunswick for lots of outdoor dining options.
