Oceanfront 4 bedroom house w/ private W/D, WiFi, shared pool, AC

Awesome location

We loved everything about this house and its location. We cannot wait to return. We cook a lot when we do the beach house vacation and were extremely pleased with the kitchen and its setup. A couple things to be aware of if your looking at this house. High tide comes to the house now, so there is limited beach space in front of the house, which gets shared by the others on the streets behind you. It never felt crowded, and people were courteous, but you don't have that large beach space in front of the house like other properties. This was a huge plus for me, some others may not like it so much. There are also a lot of stairs. That is to be expected for on the beach houses. This may be an issue for older guests or older dogs Part of the road and the driveway are sand. We had AWD or 4WD vehicles. I do not think it would have been an issue if we didn't, but that is probably something to keep in mind. All these are issues with a lot of beach houses, and no complaint at all on our part, just something to keep in mind as you plan a vacation. Again, can't wait to get back to this house. 42 years of OBX trips, and this is our current favorite.

This beach house was exactly what we were searching for. Great mellow location. The beach is viewed from almost every window. Equipped with everything you will need. The views are spectacular. We seen some of the most amazing scenes while we visited. Kite surfers. Sunrise and sunset. Double rainbows. There was so many beautiful seashells to collect as well. This trip was so important. It was my mother’s bucket list wish. It was heavenly. I recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful beach house that can be enjoyed day and night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Spring Break vacation at the Harper House. A great home for our rather large family of 7 and everyone loved it. Great views and literally steps from the beach. Added entertainment by surfers and dolphins that was very interesting and exciting. Would love to return and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you to the Harper House for a very fun Spring Break!

Angel worked very hard to get sand removed from the entry steps to house. The ocean was very angry the first few days we were there. Water everywhere under house. We loved our stay even though very different from many other stays. There is plenty of seating in great room and the beds are very comfortable

Great house, very clean, right on the beach! We had a wonderful time.

The only downside to staying here is the encroachment of the surf that occasionally sweeps beneath the house and driveway. Safe parking for vehicles during these times (...now more frequent) is a challenge.

Perfect for surf fishing! Best to navigate area with a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Streets sand-covered or under water much of the time. Nice fish-cleaning area outside.

had an absolute blast right on the beach we do an annual guys fishing trip every year and this has been better than most a few issues we had was first the lady from vacasa called at like 7am on sunday the first morning there not that big of a deal but still dont wake people up on a Sunday morning . there were cigarette butts all over outside would not have been an issue if the agreement hadn't specifically said no smoking inside and out there were screens laying on the ground missing from windows and a door the ceiling fans throughout were very nasty just about every faucet In the house was dripping trash pickup was also an issue cans were full upon arrival trash was dumped once and it was on a Thursday not Tuesday or Friday like the check in notes and even still they only dumped 1 can
