Ocean Views from Every Room!

This was very nice a clean unit. It was our first time renting from an owner who lived on the top floor. They are super nice and friendly, met us downstairs when we arrived, and shortly afterwards gave us a 10 minute breakdown on how a few things worked. They let us use their gas grill for the week, which was great cause we cooked almost every meal. They also provided a bunch of beach stuff (6-7 chairs, buckets, frisbees, etc.), toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, hand towels, bath towels, wash clothes, hand soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent - basically everything that anyone could ever need, they had it! The house is located in the Maritime Plantation and has its own private beach access. It was 15 steps from the property; literally right across the street. We’ve been to Topsail before but never stayed in Surf City. It was the absolute perfect location. We were 10 minutes from the furthest south end of the island and we were 10 minutes from the pier, restaurants, and the traffic circle.

Carolyn and Peter were amazing hosts. Their place was the cleanest we have ever stayed at. The location was perfect. From the balconies we had great views of the ocean and could even hear the waves crash. The privet access to the beach was just across the street making the location even better. We have been coming to Surf City for many years and this is one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The kids even got to hang an ugly fish on the outside of the house. Memories were made.

A beautiful beach home with amazing hosts! The house is stocked with items you never know if you need to bring or not, and they will replace anything you run out of. Communication on the front end and during our stay was fantastic! The levels between living space and bedrooms is separated by a common stairwell that worked well for our family of 3 kiddos but may not for all families depending on ages. It was surprisingly easy access to the beach as well with a walk over close by!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my daughter’s 17th birthday with several of her girlfriends! Carolyn and Peter were wonderful and their home is the perfect spot for a quick beach trip. The house was clean, the kitchen was very well stocked (more than most VRBOs), and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be back to enjoy their beautiful beach home! Absolutely the best Topsail Island rental we’ve ever had (and we have had a lot). Every detail was well thought out, including night lights, sound machine, charging ports, paper products, beach towels, beach toys, etc - it’s all there! Spotlessly clean and the loveliest hosts you’ll ever meet. We look forward to return!

We had an amazing stay at this rental house! The place was spotless—everything was clean, well-maintained, and felt fresh the moment we walked in. It’s clear the owners take great pride in keeping the home in top condition. The best part? It’s just a short walk to the beach! We loved being able to enjoy the ocean anytime without worrying about driving or parking. Perfect location and truly a comfortable, clean getaway. Highly recommend!

Peter and Carolyn were excellent hosts and met us upon arrival to go over the check-in process and house rules. The house was so beautiful and immaculately clean. They really go the extra mile to make sure everything is clean and sanitized. The house is also fully stocked with everything you could possibly need or want. We also had access to beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys so you only need to bring your clothes. We couldn’t have asked for a better week at the beach! We look forward to visiting again next year.

The home is exactly as Carolyn and Peter describe. Very clean and comfortable with close, easy access to the beach. This is my first time staying in a home where the owner also lived and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Carolyn and Peter were available if we needed something but otherwise very discreet. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely return! Thank you!
