Ocean View Cedar Chalet/ 10 min to Acadia

This is a fantastic host, and the Cedar Chalet was such a beautiful home. Thank you for sharing this special place with us! There were so many details that made this stay so nice—a kitchen with so many extras, beautiful views, a wonderful space for all of us, and so many other extras. The location is great and close to Bar Harbor and Acadia but also in such a peaceful location with an amazing water view with incredible sunsets and water access just a short walk away. The host also provided personalized recommendations for local spots and eats, and they were all fantastic! We really enjoyed our time there this week and are grateful for the memories we made at the Cedar Chalet!

Amazing stay! Wonderfully large chalet with plenty of room for everyone. Views are spectacular- you really feel like you're in the forest with gorgeous bay views. Sunset is phenomenal! The place was super clean and we had a great time.

The Ocean View Cedar Chalet was great. The kitchen was well stocked. The deck and the views really make the place awesome. The property was clean and well cared for. Cleanliness was a big deal in feeling comfortable The property is a short drive to many of the trails on Mount Desert Island. It’s an even shorter drive to Bar Harbor .We really had a great time at Acadia and the wonderful Cedar Chalet was part of that. Big Thank you to Jamie

Beautiful view! Loved waking up to it! Spacious and perfect for a family! Great location to visit the park and Bar Harbor.

The house was perfect!It was clean, peaceful, in the woods (nature sounds all around) with a beautiful view of the water. And set up perfectly for a relaxing out of the way stay, yet close to Acadia National Park and the surrounding harbors so we didn't spend endless time traveling from place to place.The layout of the house works so well for a couple, up to 3 couples or a family. It was just the two of us and the space was easy to settle into. Plenty of space to move around in, to be together and to store your belongings. I love the loft bedroom with the walk-in closet and the built-in book shelf. There were books, games and puzzles. Also, Barbies, cars & tracks and other toys to entertain the kids. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and the island provided enough space to prepare food.We walked down below to the beach as well and enjoyed exploring. Jamie was great at communicating and he covered everything that we needed to know in email. The information on site was complete as well.We would book this home again for a visit to the area and will recommend it to others.Thank you Jamie!

The house has a beautiful view with gorgeous sunsets. Kitchen is well equipped with all you could need to prepare meals. Location provides for easy access to the NP and towns of Mt Desert Island.

Jamie was very responsive and great with suggestions for winter options. The house is beautiful inside, and the views are amazing! We made several meals there and had everything we could ever need. It was close to all the trails and towns and set in a peaceful and serene location. We loved our time here hope to be able to visit again!

This chalet was perfect for our stay on Mt Desert. Spectacular views. Lots of room to spread out. Away from the crowds, but still a quick drive into Bar Harbor. Everything was clean and well maintained. The owner was very communicative and gave clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second year staying at the Cedar Chalet and it's the perfect spot for a family getaway. Very cozy, clean and family friendly- quiet and tranquil!We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay! Everything needed was there. Viewing the beautiful sunsets from that great porch was very relaxing. We appreciated being able to use the grill. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We have stayed at this lovely chalet several times and will be back again!

Very clean and comfortable home with an amazing view. - we saw both deer and an eagle. The house had all the amenities needed for our stay at Acadia. We would definitely chose the Chalet again if we ever return to Bar Harbour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Ocean View Cedar Chalet. The kitchen was stocked well, and house was comfortable for our family of seven. Close proximity to Acadia and town of Bar Harbor allowed us to explore. Jamie was helpful with suggestions before our arrival. Would recommend!

Property was exactly as described. It was great to retire to excellent lodging after hiking everyday. Beautiful views off the deck. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was very responsive to all communications.

The house is 10 minutes from town and the airport. Great views from the floor to ceiling windows. 10Minutes to Acadia park so you can go to Cadillac mountain to see the stars. We had a great time.

It was a beautiful place to spend time together as a family. Communication with the property owner was proactive, thorough, and extremely helpful. The location is perfect for accessing all of the beautiful spots in Acadia and the surrounding Mount Desert Island area. Every part of the property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We can’t wait to plan our trip for next year.

Our family of 4 fell in love with the stunning home and property immediately upon arrival. The views are incredible, the home has everything you could need, and the owners are incredibly kind and attentive. We hope to return and enjoy it all over again. Locating and accessing the property was quite simple and that holds value for us when traveling to unknown areas. Amazing vacation!!

Really nice, clean house. Very quite, peaceful location in the forest with great water views. Easy drive to Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and Acadia National Park. The owners are pleasure to deal with. We had a wonderful stay and would like to go back sometime.

Wonderful time at the Cedar chalet! We got exactly what we were looking for: a modern chalet with a beautiful view in a peaceful location surrounded by pine trees. It was far enough from the main road and close enough from Bar Harbor and Acadia park. Jamie made sure we felt confortable! Thank you!

We had a great time at this property. The location and space was wonderful. The only thing I would let people know is that the room on the loft doesn't have a door so if someone is an early riser, put them in that room! :)
