Ocean Shores Retreat w/ Porch & Canal Views!

Lots of dog hairs we had to vacuum upon arrival other than that we liked the place

This place was great. Super clean and they had labels for everything that was provided. Anything you can think of that you would need was there. And it was so peaceful by the canal. The fire pit was so cute, we would’ve used it if it wasn’t raining. The location was perfect, just close enough to town but far away enough to stay peaceful. We would definitely stay there again. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Absolutely adore this house. Have rented it a few times with family and friends and always try to book it when we’re in the area.

House is nicely situated on bank of canal river, short drive to beach. Loved having coffee on porch in morning watching water flow by. Everything is new and shiny inside with comfy beds, electric fireplace and well appointed kitchen. Clean and well appointed, coffee pods, bath products and nice linens . Will stay again.

We loved getting to fish off the dock, see all the wildlife (deer, racoons, bear, otters, frogs) and then having the beach a super short drive away! The house was so beautiful, cozy and fully stocked with literally everything you need! As a mom I appreciate all the extra touches of a fun night light, kid dishes and items in the kitchen like the foil, cleaning supplies under the sink for the counter, etc. all helps! Sadly, there was a burn ban so we couldn't use the fire pit but we are already planning another trip back! How cozy to start the day fishing and have breakfast by a warm fire while dipping to the dock for a cast and end the day at the beach with s'mores in your own back porch! This place is a gem! The owners/crew were so attentive and easy to reach if you have any questions. Definitely , a new tradition for our family has begun!

This was our second stay at this property. We love everything about this home except the bed. Says it's a queen but seems smaller. It is lumpy and uncomfortable. Don't know why there is not a King bed as there is plenty of room for one. For this reason, we probably will not stay here again.

This was our third stay. The home is most comfortable and has everything that you need. Such a pleasure having the deer roam around the yard, even had the experience of a bear visiting.We have already booked for next year.

Everyone, 4 adults, grand daughter, pet, really liked the set-up and convenience to the beach and ocean parks. Was also very surprised to find the brand new little village with a great restaurant close by. Outstanding!Check-In and Check-Out processes were the easiest and smoothest we've had at any prior rental property. All the info, procedures and things to do checklist were super helpful.The kitchen facilities were nicely organized and stocked with all you'll need to get settled.A great time and hope to do it again!

Loved it so much want to book Xmas., would there be a discount (maybe) if I book for Dec 22-29?

It was a great property. Quiet but close to the town and the beaches. Loved being right on a canal and enjoyed sitting down on the dock and watching the ducks. All in all, would definitely reccomend this location and consider going back again.

Our first time to visit Ocean Shores and we found the perfect place! It was close to what we wanted to see and do and it quiet and very peaceful. We will definitely stay at this little gem again.

I hope to go back again for a third time to this beautiful home on a canal in Ocean Shores…

Clean home with all the amenities and a beautiful view.

Had a wonderful time.. It was so peaceful to watch the canal go from left to right.. And the thoughtful amenities couldn't be better. Thank You Helms.

Enjoyed the backyard and sitting by the water. Convenient to lots of beaches. House clean and neat. Had everything you need.

The master closet is nice and big to fit a pack and play in there, they had lots of comfy blankets and pillows which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the beds were not our taste, they were very firm and uncomfortable (bring a mattress topper if you can). The view is beautiful and we enjoyed roasting s'mores by the fire, only a quick drive to the jetty for the sunset! This was really nice for us because we have a bigger family and I do believe its more bang for your buck. I would bring your own cutting board because the one there is plastic and pretty worn. Do not leave any food out! Big raccons roam around at night, we had a big one out on the front porch and he was enjoying our chocolate and hamburger buns. Overrall we had a great stay with a few very minor things that could be easily improved.

This place was clean, organized and great location…. Highly recommend
