Ocean Front, Spacious Log Cabin with Beautiful Ocean Views!

We stayed here 2 years ago, and loved it. We loved it more this year. There were some upgrades to the kitchen and the balcony that made staying there even more pleasant. It now has Roku, so we were able to add and remove our own streaming services, which was nice.The house has a great location, close to downtown Fernandina Beach, restaurants and several parks. It has space for a family to spread out and be together, with plenty of comfortable seating. There are also two outdoor spaces for gathering.I highly recommend this property for family vacations. It’s the log cabin on the beach- everyone knows it.

This cabin is in a great location and was very cozy to stay in. We had excellent views of the ocean and direct access to the beach. We walked to the local restaurants and Ubered to downtown. It was tricky parking 4 small SUVs on the property but with some creative thinking and careful measuring we were able to make it happen! Overall we had an excellent time and would recommend the cabin as a great place to stay!

Had to call owner on 2 different occasions for issues. Definitely needs to be updated, exterminator needs to come check it out, roaches in the kitchen. Location and beach access was good. We would not stay there again, way too expensive for what you get.

The home was perfect for me and my family. Plenty of bed/bath to avoid waistlines for showers. We had 1 shower upstairs that leaked into the lower floor which I notified the property host. We appreciate the accommodation for early check in as we prepared for my son’s wedding. Amelia island is beautiful and the home was perfect for our event. Thank you Lee for being a gracious host.

The Log Cabin on the Beach was so comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with a large table that accommodated our large group. The walk to the beach was awesome!!! We really enjoyed our stay.

Our whole family stayed at the property - including fur babies. The cabin was very cute and different from the others. It was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us and the ocean view was awesome. We had a great time and will certainly come again. We did some research and discovered the house was originally built in the 1930's! We are great fans of old houses. You can tell it's an old house, but the updates and totally modern and well done.

Perfect house for a family. Room for everyone and our fur baby. Location, communication, cleanliness, beach accessories was on point.Recommend.

The house has an ocean view from the upstairs porch and a roomy interior. There was room for togetherness and quiet times away. The kitchen is roomy and has all the necessary equipment.

Everything we needed to vacation with our pets! Outstanding!

Needs maintenance and deep cleaning, other than that, enjoyed my 2 weeks there.

The iconic location was absolutely beautiful but the home is in need of some TLC. The interior is in rough shape -- a lot of shoddily done repairs and home feels cluttered. Tough to get into the primary bedroom because furniture is too big for the space.A lot of the touches you would expect in this price range were lacking -- one nearly empty hand soap, near-zero water pressure in kitchen sink, couldn't find any beach towels, only a few washcloths for the whole house, a lot of debris/trash around outside the house, poorly repaired and not re-touched holes in walls, tiles, and even shower floor. Not one to nit-pick, just pointing out what added up to it feeling a bit like a frat house.The property management group was easy to work with and responsive -- just was disappointed the home overall felt grimy and unkempt.

Amazing Location!! - Right on the beach which was perfect for your crew which included little ones so access to the house while spending the day on the beach was heaven. The kitchen and living area were vary spacious and there was plenty of room for all. Overall, the whole place (house, decks, back patio & path to the beach) could definitely use some TLC, and the ants kind of put a damper on things. But over all we had a fantastic vacation. Thank you!

Great Vacation in the historic log cabin! Stayed here several years ago...Another Great Experience. Lee was great to deal with and had many great recommendations for the area. Hope to stay in the Cabin again next summer.
