Stayed Aug 1, 2022If you’re looking for oceanfront this is it… Unit has lots of stairs, and is very much in need of TLC and updating… Toilets need replacing. Although right on ocean, many days the six fans didn’t keep unit cool. We spent the month of August , and weather was upper 70’s, but if a heat wave hit, it wouldn’t be comfortable… Unit needs a better computer/ TV …no access to Netflix etc…but had basic cable.. Someone lives in garage, but we never saw him… Views were magnificent!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rental process, views and location were amazing, as advertised. The unit definitely needs updating. The showers in particular are quite small and dated. The lights throughout the house flickered quite a bit as well. The view and location make it all worth it but the property could be amazing with a few updates.

Stayed Jan 5, 2021Property was beautiful. I loved falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves. Could watch the sunsets from the patio with a glass of wine. Close to downtown for coffee or food runs. Highly recommended.

Stayed Nov 10, 2020So this was our seventh trip to Encinitas and second one not in a hotel. We are a married couple who came to town for some vacation surfing and to enjoy beers and sunset on this property's patio and the place definitely exceed expectations. It was a bonus that the next door neighbors were warm and friendly, which made for an even better vibe. I would definitely rent this property again.

Stayed Oct 26, 2020This was the best stay I have had using VRBO. The view that you get with this property is priceless. The propert managers are great and easy to contact. The house was has everything you need. We also found the neighbors to be awesome, and had many great talks while looking at the ocean. Its amazing that we are able to get this slice of heaven at an affordable price.

Stayed Sep 10, 2020The property is the only home that is a rental in the group of condos so it is overseen by an HOA hit squad. My wife and I had two other couples over for dinner on the back patio. We were sitting have dinner, no music, no kids . Just adults having dinner. It was exactly 8:10pm when we got a noise complaint from one of the neighbors. The neighbors do NOT want this home to be a rental. At 10:05 were were (me and one other guest on the patio) told BY A NEIGHBOR (who came outside to tell us) that the curfew was 10:00pm and we needed to go inside. So long and short of it...the place has a great location but we would have never stayed there if we knew about the clearly ongoing issues with the neighbors....also the property is very run down. If you have a family OR are planning on having more then 2 guest over for dinner...you need to find another place. I still cannot believe that I was told to go inside the home (by the neighbor) when it was just myself and a friend having a conversation on the back patio. ALSO - the master bed was approximately 20 years old (as it was sad and saggy) and there were dark hand prints and foot prints on the wall 2 feet from my head. I actually used a tee shirt of mine as a pillow case. I could go on...but you get the point.
