Wonderful access to the beach.Dining table on the outdoor patio just outside the kitchen is perfect for dining or playing games outside in the shade.Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom !Nice quiet street for riding bikes.Convenient location. Hard to beat !

OBX Box is a great vacation home. Well set up and well maintained. I had a couple of questions for Mike and he responded with help right away. I like this house and the owners so much, I’m going back again for a few days in August.

This was our second time staying here. We absolutely love it!! The convenience to the beach, the cleanliness of the pool and home and the short walk to the center of Duck checks off all our boxes. Looking forward to staying here again.

The Beach Box was the perfect rental home for us! Great location, everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and the pool was open even though the listing read open from May to October! (That was a nice suprise) Fantastic place!

Mike and Mary were kind and helpful hosts. They even came out and helped us when we ran into a few issues with fans and outdoor lights. The home was clean, with no strange odors or noticable stains. The home had everything we needed, trash bags, toilet paper, beach chairs, hand soap etc. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location to everyone!

Amazing home close to the beach we watched many sunrises!!! Great pool and hot tub! Make sure you bring all paper goods and linens. Very comfortable and accommodating. Only glitch was we couldn’t get in until 4:30 and the cleaners were still there (they did a great job getting it ready for us).

We enjoyed an amazing long weekend at OBX Box. The house was fantastic. The layout was perfect for our group of 6 adults, but would have been equally great had we had children with us. The house has a lot of spaces to enjoy inside and out! Our communication with the hosts was great as well. We loved our stay!

It was a lovely space for our big family. Lots of seating, fun decor, appreciated the ice cream puzzle, equipped kitchen, and close proximity to the beach and Scarborough Faire. The only thing unpreferable was having to bring all the linens, towels, paper products (paper towels, toilet paper), bathroom soaps, etc for all 5 bathrooms and bedrooms and kitchen. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Our family just had our second vacation trip to the OBX Box Cottage and it was again just perfect in every way. This cottage is just the right size for large families, and we love that everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom. Beautifully decorated, the cottage is inviting and comfortable. Just a few steps to the ocean, the location is incredible. This home is by far the best Vrbo experience we have ever had, and we can’t wait to return next year. We love that it is pet-friendly so we can bring the furry member of our family. If you’re looking for the best cottage in Duck, with the absolute best hosts, this is it. The owners are amazing to work with, so kind and quick responses to any question you may have. They treated us like family, and we’re so grateful to them.Look no further - this is your vacation dream home.

We had a great family getaway to celebrate our daughter’s 17th birthday. We loved how cozy and clean the house was, and the walk to the shops and restaurants was a perfect distance. It was a great time, and would 100% come back again!

Bedrooms and bathrooms pristine with wonderful upgrades! Very close to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen.

The host instructions were clear and very helpful. The house is perfect, within walking distance of Duck proper. the house is 100 yards from the beach and the walkway to the beach is right across the street. The house is very well furnished. Can't get much better.

My only wish is for a more comfortable sofa. There is no support for bad backs

The house was excellent. The house was very clean and the host was perfect .our family and dog loved it . The only one thing that I found that needs fixing . The outside grill could use a upgrade . One burner didn’t work and the ignition button wouldn’t work. We would definitely stay there again.

The hosts were great at communication and really helpful when I asked questions. The property was perfect for our 4 adult couples. The location couldn't be better; we walked everywhere for the most part. The best part-the beach was a 1 minute walk away! The house has all the chairs and fun beach things you could need. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean. The kitchen was well stocked too. It was weird not having linens provided, however, that seems to be common around here while I was searching rentals. The rental process was easy. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Thank you for sharing your home with us! It was perfect.

Lovely house, great location, helpful and friendly owners

The location to beach and town can't be beat! For our family, the layout of home was perfect for sleeping levels, especially with a 1 & 3 year old. We did have an issue with dryer not working but the management was quick to respond and provided us a temporary fix. We definitely hope to go back next year.

We have stayed here before and booked again next year already. Consistently excellent. Clean, well maintained, pet and kid friendly. Great location and reasonably priced.

What we loved- the three floors, space, pool, hot tub, and location to the beach.What was something we had not planned on: having to bring out own sheets and towels for all guests, paper products, and dish soap, having to vacuum the entire house before we leave and of course strip all of the beds and repack the sheets and towels. The stay was still amazing but what I mentioned above was disappointing and made out last morning difficult.

Loved the layout of the property. It was perfect for our needs. Loved the proximity to the beach.Also enjoyed the pool. Not to mention within walking distance of coffee/ breakfast and ice cream shops !

We loved everything about this stay. The house was beautiful and in an ideal location. We could walk to restaurants, stores, and the boardwalk. The beach was steps away. It was private, quiet and very relaxing. We hope to come back and stay again!

This house was absolutely PERFECT. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, beautiful ocean views, and lots of extras like a pool and hot tub, to name only a few of the many perks. We own a vacation rental ourselves and know high quality when we see it. Would totally recommend!!

Location cannot be beat, steps away from the ocean and walk to shops/restaurants, the house has everything you need (except linens but that fact is well disclosed in the listing), hot tub and pool (we will be back to enjoy pool which was closed for winter, also disclosed, of course), outdoor shower and excellent communication with the Owner. What more could one ask for?

ObX Box was a perfect location in Duck. Ocean views and a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The property was very nice and well stocked with basic supplies. Amazing amenities... pool, hot tub, outdoor bar, laundry, dvds and games/puzzles. 5baths

Spent the weekend in OBX to celebrate my husbands and daughters birthdays! Great location and loved the house!!!We will definitely keep this house as a front runner when we vacation again in the OBX!!Owners communicated right away with all necessary information!!

Spacious cottage, room for the whole family to have private space. Great location, short walk to beach. Our first trip to Duck, and this cottage offered everything we needed. Loved that it was pet friendly for our dog. All appliances worked perfectly, everything was exactly as described. Can’t wait to come back!!

Beautiful place, in a peaceful neighborhood. Beach access is right across the street. No complaints. Great shops right there. The owner, Mike was great, he responded all the questions right away.

House is very well designed for the location. Loft to look out to the ocean and the sunrise. Accommodated our group of 9 very comfortably. Weather was awesome!

We had a great stay at the house, which had everything we needed. Great living space, out door decks, and the house is across from the beach entrance! It’s a 1 minute walk to the the beach, which is less than 40 yards away. Great views from all of the decks of the ocean. Easy access and great to work with the hosts.

Easy communication with host, property was as advertised. No major issues with any of the amenities. Beach access right across the street, just a couple minutes walk away. Would be a good house for several families.

This was our 5th year staying at OBX for Thanksgiving week and we just signed up for our 6th. Love the place! Each year brings surprises of upgrades that keep the property current and nice. The walk to the beach takes 2 minutes and the town of Duck is just down the street. Couldn't be better.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was just perfect for our family. The beach is just steps away, shops and restaurants a short walk down the road. The house itself was a perfect base for our family (grands, adult “kids”, 2 lil ones and our fur baby). Having great weather in November was an added perk! We would definitely stay again!

I’ve been coming to the outer banks every summer for almost 20 years & this fall trip was by far my favorite trip in all those years! The locals are gatekeeping the OBX in the fall & I’m sad I haven’t found this specific house sooner! Host was very easy to communicate with & was very prompt in responding. Upon arrival to the house, check in with the keyless entry was efficient. The house smelled so clean and was literally spotless! I’ve stayed in ALOT of different places & this one by far surpassed cleaning perfection. The house was equipped with everything in terms of the kitchen. The house even had odds & ends things that you usually end up buying while there (salt and pepper, handsoap, cleaning supplies, foil, paper towels, etc of things that were left over from prior guests). The house is beautiful & the location couldn’t be anymore convenient in distance to the beach if it were ocean front itself. You can see the waves from the top floor and hear it throughout the house. The pool/hot tub area is perfect! It’s lit up with lights, all outdoor furniture was very nice and abundant. Outdoor showering area is very private & convenient as well! The feel of the house is very well thought out and perfect for any family! Duck is the cutest little town as well. There is plenty of cute shops & eats within walking distance to the house, it’s only about a half mile down the road. The boardwalk is also cool just in town! WILL BE BACK! :)

Loved having bathrooms for every bedroom. We had six to eight people in the house at any time and we were never cramped. Lots of space to hide away and read a book. I was surprised to find chairs for the beach which I must have missed when I looked earlier. Great time watching the sunrise. We would love to return one day!
