NRG Park Basecamp w/ Fenced Yard

Great for families visiting New River Gorge NP! We stayed here with our 4 kids (ages 7-11) and had a great visit. Plenty of room for everyone and very close to the bridge and hiking trails.

The house was tastefully decorated, and the host had several photos all over the walls with small QR codes indicating where the places where, best times to visit, and general suggestions. I have never seen anything like it before in a VRBO. The owner was quick to respond to messages, and provided accurate information.

Nice, neat, clean and newly remodeled this was a great place to unwind after spending the day doing outdoor activities. The sheets were super comfortable and the towels were unusually fluffy for a rental. The TV was giant and thoroughly appreciated! Enjoyed our stay. This was a dog friendly house and if you are traveling with a dog just be aware that the backyard is fenced but only accessible out a side door and around the corner to the fenced yard. Not directly from the house. That being said, the yard was nicely shaded by trees and my dogs loved being able to run off leash.

Host was extremely friendly & informative. Breakfast excellent. Converted basement is spacious & convenient to parking.

The house was clean and pleasant; the beds were comfortable; the AC worked well, and there was coffee and filters in the cabinet for the coffeemaker. The house was an easy drive to most of the local New River attractions and restaurants. The shower head was even adjustable between a wide and concentrated spray.

Great spot for us as we were mainly visiting family in Oak Hill, but still very close to all other site seeing spots around the location. The listing was accurate, but the beds weren’t great and the backyard and back patio area weren’t exactly great spots to do anything. Overall it’s a good house and location for surrounding sites. I would recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the area.

Great location and great stay. Appreciated the quick response time from our host when we had questions. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and it was a great home to come back to after our adventures. It had everything we needed.

This house was located only minutes from the New River Gorge Bridge and downtown Fayetteville. It was a quiet neighborhood and centrally located for all of our activities. The house had been completely remodeled and was extremely clean on the inside, including new cabinets and cookware. The single bathroom was a little inconvenient, but everyone had their own bedroom. If we get the chance to come back, we will definitely stay there again. Mark
