Nothing beats Ocean Front

The location was incredible. The house had accommodations for our littles and was very homey and comfortable. We definitely hope to be back soon!

Everything was clean and well supplied. The kitchen had useful workable appliances and was well stocked. The home was on the 2nd floor which made the view of the beach amazing. The host communicated well before, during and after our stay and was available if necessary. We came to Mission Beach to celebrate a family birthday and all had a very pleasant, enjoyable experience.

The location of this home is simply perfection!! We spent 80% of our time on the balcony just enjoying the views and watching people! The home accommodated our party of 12 comfortably with plenty of space for everyone. We appreciated the inside view windows and living area when the balcony got a little chilly and the separate tv area was nice for those watching movies or sports. The large table was so nice for group meals. We easily walked to local restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The host was amazing with communication and check in/check out expectations were clear. Thank you for sharing your amazing property with us and we hope to come back very soon!

Being right on the beach made all of the difference! So amazing to watch the nightly sunset from the private balcony or even from inside from the massive window. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and bathrooms had all the basic toiletries. Easy walk to get coffee, go to the market, or to the bay side to watch the sunrise.

The amenities were adequate. We could have Used a toaster.

Location excellent! Beach, restaurants, coffee shops. Easy to get everywhere. House a great size and layout for our family of 10. Host was responsive and friendly. Could not have asked for a better location.

The house was great, lots of room and amenities, responsive landlord, great views, and perfect location. It was a good gathering place, we had nine adults staying there, but could have fit in another family member or two. We loved sitting out on the deck to drink coffee and watch the waves, people, and sunset. There were lots of restaurants and shops to walk to. We were there for a family event so we didn't spend as much time at the house or on the beach as we had hoped, but would love to come back and stay at the house again!

This is a really terrific family property! We stayed here with our children and grandchildren. The unit is well stocked with all the essentials like toilet paper, trash bags, and soap (it’s always annoying when we have to buy these things on vacation). There are many thoughtful touches, like two coffee pots (a Keurig and a regular pot) and lots of throw blankets. There are plates and utensils for children, as well as a high chair and crib. We were able to do all our laundry in the unit’s washer and dryer (there was even laundry soap). The location is amazing! It was wonderful to be right on the beach, and Belmont Park is an easy walk. There’s a small grocery store right across the street. We were very comfortable here and had a fantastic stay. The only drawback to this property is the lack of air conditioning, but there are fans in every room, so we managed. This small thing would not keep us from going back, though, and I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed the location on Mission Beach, San Diego. Host and building owner were friendly.

The location of this place is amazing. The beach is pristine. The sand is soft. Walking distance to Belmont, but not too close. Volleyball courts just outside. Upstairs location with patio is terrific for beach views. The home is older, and there are definitely things that need upgrades and cleaning. (Carpet should be replaced, master shower needs an overhaul, grill needs to be cleaned etc.) Owner was very nice to work with. Just know that you are getting an older beach home, and you are going for the beach location.

Great views and tons of room!

Three generations of our family really enjoyed the 2nd level of this beach house. There was plenty of space for everyone It was well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, dish clothes, beach and bath towels, unlike a previous VRBO. The location is great, a short walk to Belmont Park, and sunsets are amazing. Be cautious parking, one of our cars scraped. It was a wonderful stay and we look forward to returning.

I lived in Mission Beach in my early 20’s. I used to jog to the jetty and I’d see all the families enjoying themselves in the oceanfront rentals, and I said to myself “someday I want to do that with my family.”Well someday came! My sister & I rented this house to celebrate both my niece’s 21st birthday and my son’s graduation from SDSU! It was a wonderful house with plenty of bedrooms & space for our large group. The owner even dropped off an ice chest, upon my request - very appreciated! I would definitely rent it again, if needed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location. Poor wi-fi and internet access. Problem with hearing neighbors talking outside into the early morning. Otherwise terrific views and comfortable accommodations. Would highly recommend.

Excellent location wonderful windows to view the beach and the sunset even with cloudy rainy weather it was great to be able to sit and watch the ocean

The view is amazing, I was able to watch my daughters and grandkids play in the sand in front of the house. House very clean and kitchen has everything you need.

It is so cool to have morning coffee on the beach! The area was very nice with lots of things to do. The kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. We expected to go and do something each day, but we spent a lot more time just walking the area or playing on the beach.

Great place, location, and view!

My family and I had the best time in San Diego, thanks in large part to this wonderful location right on the beach. Our party included my wife and me (38 & 40), her parents (both 70), and our children plus a girlfriend (21, 20, 14, 6, & 4) and even among that wide range of ages everyone enjoyed this house. Obviously the proximity to the beach and walkability of Mission Beach is the main draw, but the house itself has lots of beachy charm and character. Remember, though, beach houses are hard to keep perfectly clean so if you like sparkling, spotlessly clean you might have to get used to it but it is a beach house. Oh, speaking of, the parking situation is actually decent (tight fit but no weird walls or small garages like lots of these properties have) and the instructions to get in are very clear. I already miss staying here.

Perfect setup for extended family get together. The kids loved the beach and being able to watch it from the home. There was some sand/beach toys and chairs that we could use which was so great for us since we flew there. Highly recommend if you want to stay on the beach and be walking distance to Belmont Park!

You just can’t beat this VRBOs location. Great place and accessible to anything. The owner is great as well which is a huge plus. We enjoyed our stay! Great place for family gatherings!

Nine members of our family had a great time at this place. It is an amazing location where you can walk to food, coffee, and bars. It is literally at the beach and near many volleyball courts. The house works well for a group. We were 4 couples and a single and all had our own rooms. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.

The kitchen needed to be a little bit more clean,especially the microwave and the toaster, but other than that it was great the carpet underneath the dining room table it needs to be tacked down or remove. It was becoming a tripping hazard.

Great location, within walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. The view was unbeatable and to be able to walk right onto the beach was the best! The host was quick to respond and very detailed. We appreciated the toiletries, laundry detergent, and kitchen supplies! Everything was very clean!! Would definitely book again!
