Northern Comfort Overlooking Caribou Lake- Spacious and Secluded

Perfect house for our trip to lutsen. Plenty of space, clean and beautiful location.

This house was beautiful.

The cabin was great, we loved the games and puzzles and lots of room plus the outstanding windows and view!!! We were a tad disappointed that the Wii did not work. The discs were too used or something? It was advertised as an amenity and time was spent trying to get it to work. Just an FYI, really, as we loved our stay overall.

Northern Comfort was a spectacular house for our family gathering. The house, fireplace, furniture and grounds were impeccable. We would love to stay here again in the summer. The location was fantastic being close to both Lutsen, and Grand Marais.

4th stay at this home. Love it and has become quite a tradition.

My group of 7 loved our stay at Northern Comfort! The house is well appointed and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and have some privacy. The kitchen has good kitchen utensils, pots, etc. The wireless connection is solid, which actually can be an issue sometimes up on the Minnesota's North Shore. One of our favorite thins about the place is that there are so many places to gather: a large dining room table, a main floor porch, a TV room, a gaming/party room and a deck off the lower level with grill and seating for all of us. The name of the place Northern Comfort is exactly what we experienced. Also, the location between Lutsen and Grand Marais is excellent. Easy access to both towns and their amenities and wonderful access to many of the natural sites in that area. My entire group highly recommends this rental!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved all of the trees around the house — pretty views. Plenty of space for our family of 5. Loved all the different places to hang out. Great location.

Lovely home! The wood and the huge windows were stunning!!

Myself and some girl friends needed a relaxing weekend without the spouses… and this place did just that! We loved how spacious the house is, its beautiful location and view of Caribou Lake, and how easily accessible Grand Marais and the Lutsen Mountains were. There was plenty of spaces to hang out, play games, and hang by the bonfire. We loved it here!!

This is a great cabin! It was very clean and the location was great for access to the Superior Hiking Trail, Lutsen, and Grand Marais.

The cabin or lodge exceeded our expectations. Beautiful vistas overlooking the lake. Comfortable and peaceful living and sleeping areas. Fully equipped kitchen with anything you could need. We loved our stay here!

Beautiful cabin and the pictures don't even do it justice. Views are amazing from each level. Plenty of space and things to do for everyoe in the family. We'd hoped to try the outdoor firepit, but it was too cold this time. A short drive to Lutsen Ski area. Dependable wifi so streaming movie nights was a breeze. Highly recommend!

This house was amazing! It was very well stocked with kitchen supplies and games. We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace! The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The location was beautiful and the view from all the windows was breathtaking. Only recommendation would be to add lamps on the end tables for reading and a better furniture arrangement for watching movies. Both of these were kinda difficult but overall great experience!

First impressions as walk was oh my god all the woodm after entering its dang more wood. The views were respendant and the noise wass outdoors with the rare car far off in the distance. Location was easy to get to. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the relaxation. Many thanks for sharing your space with us.

Property was true to description and pictures! We had ample space to spread out as a family after exploring the area. Location was convenient to activities in the area. Great place to stay!

We had a great weekend stay in early Sept. We cam up for the Fall Superior Trail marathon that me and a friend were running in. The location was very private, but close enough to Lutsen. We loved the house and wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the house and what it had to offer. We did love the wood fireplaces as it did get pretty chilly at night. Very spacious and.clean!

Great location as a base for hiking and visiting several state parks as well as a day in Grand Marais. Many spaces for the 6 of us to spread out and then come together for meals, inside and outside.

The property and location were outstanding! The house was beautifully appointed and situated between Lutsen and Grand Marais- allowing easy access to all of the state parks and attractions we wanted to visit. We hope to return again someday.
