What a fabulous home and location. We could not have enjoyed our family time there more. Everything was great. The decor is so well thought out and nice. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful house on fantastic property with spectacular view. Remote road leading up to property was surprisingly well graveled and groomed. The house had everything that could be anticipated. Perfect for the 8 of us to get away together and spread out a bit. Felt brand new inside. Newly remodeled everything. Relaxed, grilled, played ping pong and darts, watched movies, went up the mountain to the alpine slide and gondola, and down to Lake Superior for fun exploration. Fire pit was great for relaxation and smores! Katie was wonderful with communication, easy check in, and even let us check out an hour late as we had a late flight. Truly a wonderful three night stay! Thanks!

The house itself and view of Lake Superior were gorgeous. Well appointed, clean, and an excellent location just minutes from the gondola, North Shore winery, and tons of great hikes. Everyone in our group agreed we would love to come back next year.

As noted in other reviews, this home is even more stunning than the photos suggest. Nestled a couple of miles up the hill from Lake Superior, it boasts a spacious wooded lot that offers a perfect retreat. The huge picture windows provide breathtaking views of the lake, and we were fortunate to witness several beautiful sunrises from the deck. The large kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Each bathroom is stocked with high-quality toiletries, adding a touch of luxury. The bedrooms are generously sized and feature comfortable mattresses and bedding, ensuring a restful stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely, it was difficult to leave!

We rented this property for our small family business retreat. The home was much nicer than the photos. The home has big windows with epic views of Lake Superior. The home was nicely decorated with all the amenities you would want. The kitchen was nice with a big center island - great for cooking. We had dinner together on the large dining room table which also functioned as a great meeting space for our work retreat meetings. The coffee and wine bar is very nice and functional. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is, it's a beautiful home with lots of space. It's beautifully decorated and great views. It's up the hill and away from the city lights which makes for a great getaway and great for the star gazing. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

The property was just as advertised and was extremely well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was amazing. Bonfire pit was great. Just a great place to relax in private for a few days. Kids loved the game room.

Fox Trot Ridge was everything we hoped for and more. The pictures online are great, but let me tell you the place is even more beautiful in person. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a day of exploring. Amenities were great (shampoo/paper products etc) We had amazing weather so the lake views out of every window were beautiful. The gravel road up to FTR is certainly off the beaten path and if there is snow or mud you will need 4 wheel drive for sure. We would love to experience a winter stay there, it truly was one of the best places we have ever stayed.

A beautiful cabin with a wonderful view of Lake Superior. Our entire family with three generations loved this home. The grandsons truly enjoyed playing ping-pong and darts (safe plastic tips) with electronic scoring ... they especially laughed at the heckler setting. It has a very nice deck, and we ended the stay roasting marshmallows. Our communication with the owners was excellent. You can't go wrong at this great place!

We had a fantastic summer stay at Fox Trot Ridge! The home matches and exceeds the pictures and descriptions in every way. I've never stayed in a rental that is so well equipped, particularly with kitchen supplies. The thoughtful details really put it over the top. If you are particularly sensitive to warm temperatures or insects, you may want to consider a stay in the spring or fall instead of July. But the owner also provides plenty of fans to beat the heat and insect repellent to fight the bugs (which of course are only an issue outdoors). Even with high temps and humidity during our stay, we had no problem getting a good nights' sleep (and the downstairs stays down right pleasant regardless of the outdoor conditions). Our family ranged from ages 70 to 2 and everyone had a great time. We'd definitely come back again!

We stayed at this property for 5 nights over the July 4th Holiday. It was a perfect home for our family of 7; inclusive of an 18 month old. The property was well appointed with everything we needed and more. The booking and checkin process was extremely smooth. And the owners provide you with very detailed information about the property, the checkin process, the surrounding area and activities you can enjoy while vacationing in the area. No stone is left unturned in terms of their documentation, communication and amenities provided at the property. You notice right away the owners take pride and enjoyment in providing an awesome property that any family will enjoy while vacationing on the North Shore in Minnesota. We love it!
