This place is great! It was very nice and clean, in a convenient but quiet location, and the hosts have thought of everything to make it a great stay. We travel to San Diego a lot to see my parents and this is the best rental we have stayed in. Highly recommend!

The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by a lively community full of shops and restaurants. The house is super clean, beautifully decorated, and the books on display were really fun to flip through. Summer even left us some snacks and a handwritten card, which was such a sweet touch. Thanks for setting everything up so thoughtfully!

We had a wonderful stay at Summer and Carlos’ place. It’s a beautiful apartment and they made us feel very welcome with a gift basket, a book of recommendations, bodyboard and beach toy loans. The location is fantastic just a 10min walk to beach with lots of cafes and shops nearby too. We’d love to go back sometime.

Summer was PHENOMENAL about communications, and so welcoming and friendly! The location is perfect—close to lots of restaurants and the beach/pier, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. The pictures are a very accurate representation of the space. Enjoy! :)

Summer’s house is the perfect San Diego getaway. Very walkable and so cute! We had a wonderful time.

We had an excellent stay at Summer's rental! Check-in was easy and we were welcomed by a thoughtful welcome basket of treats (which came in handy as we were starving!) It was situated in a quiet residential area and we were never bothered by any noise despite our being there while St Patrick's Day's festivities were going on. We were within walking distance or a short drive to great cafes, restaurants and beaches. The comfortable bedrooms and spacious common areas were perfect for our family of 3 to relax in. We never had the pleasure of meeting Summer directly but she was a pleasure to communicate with via text. We look forward to visiting again in the near future!

We had a wonderful girls weekend! The property is immaculate and adorable! The location could not be better. We walked just about everywhere we went! The surrounding neighborhood is quaint, yet lively and has so much to offer! Summer was a phenomenal host and had everything we could have ever needed!

Perfect central location for family members who live in the general SD vicinity to visit, for beach days and great restaurants. Clean, comfortable, homey feel.

It was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Summer was a very helpful host and communication was clear and responsive. I would highly recommend and we hope to be back in the future!

The accommodations were bright, clean, and comfortable with a beachfront vibe. We walked to the beach and restaurants for dinner. (The recommendations provided by the owner in the guidebook were wonderful.) The neighborhood felt safe and checking in and out was simple. The house was stocked with a few snacks when we arrived and coffee. The owner was kind and helpful.

We loved the cleanliness of the home, and the modern furnishings. Lucy was a terrific host, prompt communicator , friendly and gracious. When she learned we would like to have a blender to make smoothies for breakfast everyone, she had someone bring one over. Amazing.
