This home was beautiful and well cared for. It was clean and very comfortable. Location was fine but it does take an hour to get to Yosemite. A beautiful drive. Owners are attentive and responsive. Very comfortable. When in the area we’d definitely stay again - thank you !

I loved the property it was really cozy and comfortable for my family , i am definitely coming back, everything that your family might need is available there.

Great place too stay for our day trip into Yosemite! Coming from Ohio whole house fans are a little rare but once I learned how to use it we cooled the house down at night!

We liked the house — it was clean, and the owner was really nice. He gave us very clear instructions and even shared the nearest market in town, which was super helpful. As my daughter mentioned, it felt a little scary at night since it’s in a very quiet neighborhood.

Nora's Retreat is the perfect place to stay when you want to visit yosemite. About equal distance from El Portal and South gates. The cabin is well- stocked with all the basis, plus some extras that made it extra nice. Extras like pantry staples in the kitchen and extra bathroom stuff. Nora is very inviting and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place.

My family and I had a comfortable and cozy stay. Would definitely recommend.

Our family wanted to stay in the area of Yosemite but not around everyone. This was a beautiful place and worked for our family perfectly. It was an hour away from Yosemite but the drive was amazing.

I came here with 6 friends and we had a great time. I'm happy the rooms were on one side and the living room on the other so we could stay up late and not disturb everyone. The place was clean and the kitchen was nice.

The property was nice, beds were comfy, and we enjoyed our stay here. It was a pretty good haul to Yosemite, but we don’t mind driving.

It was a comfortable place to stay. It was clean, convenient and responsible owner.

Great stay and location

All of us felt so good as soon as we entered the house. A very good place to have a retreat. So silent and just want to stay more. I am recommending this place a hundred Percent

We had a 2 families. The property served its purpose well, which was just a place to sleep between hikes in Yosemite. The lower price was well worth the hour drive to the park. We did stay during a heat wave, and there is no air conditioner so be aware of that. The only other suggestion for the owner is a couple of bigger pots for serving larger groups of people. thank you for letting us stay in your home! Cheers

Amazing home and lovely hosts

Great place, out in the middle of no where if you are interested no neighbors. Good communication with the owners. We had an error in our checkout date and the owners were understanding and helped with our cause.

Perfect family vacation. Only had 2 days wish it was more. Full size stove, washer/dryer, table for all to sit around and even a game room!! Very nice house to enjoy

We stayed at Nora's for 4 nights in June, and it was nothing short of amazing! The house had everything we needed, plus a couple of extra things like coffee :) location is a bit far from the valley but the drive was gorgeous and given the location, it's very secluded. Highly highly recommend for groups (we had 6 people) as there are many options for sleeping arrangements. Overall fantastic trip and Nora made it seamless and easy to check in and have a comfy house to come back to every night.
