Situated in the heart of Mid-City, this inviting 110 year old bungalow is close to everything. The home has been updated with modern comforts and amenities but maintains its historical charms with original windows, hardwood floors and high ceilings.

Walk a few blocks to the Canal Streetcar (historic trolley) for a scenic ride to the French Quarter (and save a lot on uber), or explore the restaurants, City Park and everything else that Mid-City has to offer.

Safe, family-friendlyneighborhood.

The home includes:
~ 1000+ square feet of comfortable living space
~ 2 Queen Bedrooms with comfortable Helix Beds to sleep 4 people
~ Open & Airy Living & Dining Room with 43 Smart TV
~ Front Porch with Bistro Seating
~ Washer & Dryer On Site
~ Fast Wifi (200+ mbps) & Flexible Workspace for WFH
~ Fully Equipped kitchen with Gas Stove

About the area: North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery.

Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit Eat. Drink. Get up here.

(via Visit New Orleans)

~ 4 blocks to Canal Streetcar
~ .9 miles to City Park
~ 2 miles to Superdome

~ 3.6 miles to Magazine Street
~ 15 minutes to MSY Airport
~ Less than a mile to pharmacies, groceries and services

The nearby streetcar can take you around all day for just $3. Uber rides fo most places are $10-$15 most of the time from this location.

Great location for Jazz Fest weekend. Beautiful traditional NoLa home. Clean and well supplied. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend this home.

We really enjoyed our stay in New Orleans, the house is well located, comfortable, clean and has everything we need, even with nice details that Elizabeth left for us. we would rent it again

Our stay was delightful. The street fronting the unit was missing and in progress of being re-constructed form the dirt up tp the sidewalks. The neighborhood is a bit transitional however, we felt safe at all times. Would like to return especially when there is a street in front!

We enjoyed Caroline's super Cozy shot gun home. It was clean and conveniently located to our daughter, it provided us a great space to spend time together, near street car too! Beds and pillows were so comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

This property was a pleasure to stay in. The house is surprisingly spacious and afforded plenty of room for the two of us. The location is 2 1/2 blocks from the Canal street car line making it convenient to get to the French Quarter, WWII Museum, City Park, and Garden district. The owner has thought of everything. Communications with her were answered in a matter of minutes and she was a pleasure to work with. The neighborhood is quiet and there are some great places to eat within walking distance.
