Nissos House 2BR-Rooftop Lounge+Caldera View

The rooftop view was absolutely incredible and one of the highlights of our stay in Santorini. The house itself was unique, charming, and a perfect fit for us. There were a few restaurants and a mini market within walking distance, which made things very convenient. We also walked to Red Beach, but it was definitely more of a hike than we expected, so I’d recommend renting a car or arranging a ride. The host was fantastic and provided transportation from the port, along with rides around the island during our stay. It was extremely helpful and well worth it.

Kate was amazing! We had flight delays and she was so responsive and helpful. She organized a driver to pick us up from the airport and also provided a .pdf with tons of helpful suggestions for food and activities. The place was perfectly situated in the middle of Akrotiri, plenty close to shops, restaurants, an archeological site, and a bus stop to take you to Fira or beyond. We absolutely loved our stay. Would definitely recommend.

The favorite part of this stay was its location.. it was so nice to be able to walk to the little village for restaurants. Driving is a challenge on the narrow roads of the island, so walking was relaxing. The small house also fit in with the historic neighborhood. The host, Kate was very nice and attentive.

The Nissos house was fantastic ! Very authentic Santorini type home .. Katrina our host was helpful and very kind ! The breakfast delivered to your door every morning was so yummy ! Most of all we loved the views from every window of the sea .. we would recommend you rent a car to be more accessible to sightseeing! Really worth it ! Thank you very much Katrina

Hostess was accomodating. Bed was very comfy. Nice breakfast delivered to our door each morning. We had been to Santorini a couple of times prior, so we wanted to be away from the crowds, but you will need a vehicle to get around Highly recommended!

The experience was good, the people were welcoming, the host Kate made us fell welcome. It's a lovely family oriented village.

Really good location. Just a 5 min walk to restaurants and shops. We had come to attend a wedding. We found plenty to do and see on the other days. We didnt hire a car and got around using buses and taxis. The archaeological site and red beach are a 20 minute walk. But there is also a bus. Would recommend a boat trip to the islands

Nissos House is nestled in a traditional neighborhood of Akrotiri. This compact house served as our base for exploring Santorini without the crowds of tourists found elsewhere. We particularly enjoyed meeting some of our neighbors who were lifelong residents of the area. One lady even shared some of her baked goods she was preparing for a holiday. We found some wonderful dining just down the hill. I would advise that if you have mobility issues, you might find this location challenging.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at this location. It was small but very comfortable. It was clean and neat and the beds were comfortable. Our host, Katerina, was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment has uneven steps that were challenging to navigate so I recommend that folks over 65 years old might prefer to stay elsewhere. Akrotiri is the quietest village on Santorini. It is challenging to navigate by car. But we do recommend getting a car to see the whole island! Thira/Fira is about 20 minutes by car. There is shopping and lots of food options there.
