Froso's Guesthouse is located in the charming Pelion village of Kalamaki.
The Guesthouse gives one the impression of seclusion and serenity, nestled in a large beautiful garden which has an organic vegetable patch and a panoramic view of the sea.

Froso (property owner) lives on the ground floor and rents the upper floor of the house.

With original architectural touches, the beautiful property offers guests the ability to relax and enjoy themselves in a natural environment, with as much privacy as they wish.

The large garden has fruit bearing trees (figs, plums, walnut), grapevines, a strawberry patch and a vegetable garden, all lovingly tended by Froso herself!
Upstairs on the first floor, the three guestrooms share a common bathroom. Two of the rooms enjoy a wonderful sea view overlooking fruit and olive trees; the third room has a pleasant view of Mount Pelion.

The Guesthouse is run by Froso Sidiropoulou, a well-known jewelry-maker from Thessaloniki, who lives on the ground floor. She often shares a cup of coffee with her guests, and allows them to use her fully equipped kitchen. The garden is accessible at all hours.

Guests have access to the whole house except for Froso's bedroom and study in the ground floor. There is an extra bathroom downstairs which you can share with Froso if you need it.

Froso’s Guesthouse is located a few minutes from the village square where there are two tavernas that serve traditional Greek food. The nearest beach is a five minute drive and there is ample parking, after which a 100 step path leads to the beach. For those who experience difficulty with stairs, there are easily accessible beaches a short drive away inside the gulf of Volos. There is also the option of enjoying the beaches on the Aegean coast a half hour away on the other side of the peninsula. If you dont want to travel far for a swim, you can also use the lovely swimming pool and bar-cafe located in the hotel opposite the guesthouse. There may be a fee for using the pool, it depends on how much you consume at the bar :) 

The closest airport is Anchialos serving nearby Volos. The Guesthouse is an hour drive from Volos, and a three-and-a-half hour drive from Thessaloniki. From Athens, the Guesthouse is a four-and-a half hour drive. There is regular Volos-Kalamaki bus service twice daily.
