Nice Waterfront 3,000 sq ft house great for fishing! Very Convenient location!

Nice home, enjoyed our stay

The house is perfect for large families that like to fish. My family had a wonderful time and plenty of space to enjoy our time. Owner was always available for questions and support. The kitchen wasn’t as well appointed as described, however with a rental I’m sure some things do walk off, I have communicated with owner on things that need to be restocked. (Measuring cups, spoons, lids, sauce pan size etc) Cleaning crew didn’t clear out previous guests food or outside trash, likely swept but didn’t mop given how dirty our bare feet were night 1. But everything else was clean. Again I communicated with owner and as responsive as she is I’m sure she will address. A few issues with decking outside. There is new decking on one side but majority is in need of repair. The main thing I didn’t expect was the house was right off of 105. The freeway was visible and very loud. So sitting outside wasn’t as peaceful as it could have been. To be fair 105 used to be a small FM and now is multilane and quite busy. I do feel sorry for home owners in that area as I’m sure it was once very peaceful. It didn’t spoil our time but I didn’t realize it would be so close. Giving an honest review don’t let this sway you from renting. The house is on a channel and if you enjoy fishing if you go down the channel further in kyak, or small fishing boat is great fishing and quiet down that way. And if you go under 105 your in the main lake in a few min. We would rent again.

Great place to take the family for a weekend on the water. The Host Jenny was terrific. We will be back.

This is the second time we've rented this home. The setup is great, very serene area on the lake and conveniently close to the restaurants both on and off the water. The hosts are great with communication as well. We enjoy staying here!

The house was perfect for a quick family visit. We really enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, and lake views all from the family room.

What an awesome place for a family gathering! From ages 7-80 there was so much to do in this spacious house tucked in a quiet cove off of Lake Conroe. The kids and adults jumped right in with the air hockey and pool, and the back porch that sits close to the water was a perfect spot for relaxing and playing cornhole. The charcoal grill/smoker was used every night and provided delightful meals at dinnertime. Sleeping arrangements for 10 were perfect with everyone getting a good night's sleep. Jenny was a great host and wonderful to communicate with. No one left disappointed and I'm sure we will return for another stay.

The house was great. Very spacious and big living space to gather around with friends and family. The location was right on the lake also which made it very easy to get on our boat. The launching location for the boat was also very close to the house. Will definitely stay here again whenever we go back to Lake Conroe!

I have been looking for years for a go to property to have a gathering place for our family and finally have found the one! The house is much larger than it even appears in the images. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked to make it easy to cook meals (even though we did not cook much this trip). We look foward to booking again and again in the future.

This house accommodates lots of people which is nice. The pool table and air hockey with the large living room and dining was fantastic for all the family to show for Thanksgiving dinner. The downside was Lake Conroe had drained some water so the fishing wasn't any good - not the homeowners fault but would have been good to know. The place was clean but we swept and moped the kitchen floor when we arrived. Great place to sit outdoors and visit as well.

Overall the house served its purpose, extra rooms to get ready for a wedding. We added a few extra days so people could talk, play games, and relax. - The second floor balcony was very dirty and unusable, which was disappointing. -The shower faucets have low water pressure and were mounted very low. One shower was broken. - Pool table isn't level and most of the pool sticks are in disrepair but everyone still had fun playing. - Entry/hallway bulb was out, so it was very dark. - There are few cooking pans or bowls. - Refrigerator already had food and condiments, so our guests didn't know what food they could eat. - Cat kept trying to get in the house and was successful a few times. - Some people might not like fishing bait in the same refrigerator with their food. And the ice chest had not been cleaned. - Large pothole in driveway got very muddy after a rain. But with all that said, it's a nice house on Lake Conroe, in a good neighborhood, and it was conveniently located on HWY 105. It has lots of room to park several cars and a gate you can lock at night. Lots of sleeping options, including very comfortable couches. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. Everyone enjoyed their stay, just had some minor inconveniences.
