Newly Renovated Tuckered Out

This property had absolutely everything we needed. Glenn was very responsive and provided information that I requested in a timely fashion. The whole setup was perfect for our family reunion ages 1 to 82 and included a California family. The dock, surf board, kayaks, fishing were great additions. Everything was perfect. Every room had TVs but we seldom used them because we spent most of our time on the large double-deck dock. Nearby ACE hardware & Food Lion were handy as well as a pharmacy. Parking for our boat trailer and 6 vehicles was perfect. This was the best rental I have used over the years.

The location of this home is convenient to the grocery store and although it’s not on the main lake, the water is wide and less crowded, which was perfect for water sports. The house easily accommodated 8 people. It is fully updated with all kitchen needs, towels and extras in the bathrooms in case you forgot anything. The owner was excellent with communication. We highly recommend Tuckered Out for your Lake Gaston vacation!

6 of us stayed and enjoyed the house very much! the parking there could accept 4 boats and trucks easy by backing in the short driveway and possibly 5 with one backing in in front of the rest. this was a huge plus for us. the rooms were very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We had ample room for everyone and all of our gear. We fixed meals in and we had everything we needed for that as well. We will be back!!

The house is perfect, loved having the fire pit and games available. Would definitely stay again.

This place exceeded every expectation! Beautiful home with plenty of space for our group of 12. Despite the rain for half of our stay we were able to make the most of it with ample outdoor covered space - the deck, the patio, and a large portion of the dock! Ran into some trouble with booking because apparently VRBO was only supposed to allow full week rentals but allowed me to book for just 3 nights. The owner at first wanted to cancel the reservation due to the error but ultimately honored my booking and had great communication. I hope to be back here someday!

The place was very homey and lots of space. An area for kids to play games on bottom floor. Loved the outside spaces. Walking distance to the lake with a decent amount of yard to have a picnic bonfires and play with kids outside. Would definitely go back to relax and disconnect in the quiet and peaceful location.

We spent thanksgiving with our family here. It is a beautiful house. The location is great. Very nice bock with a deck!! Everyone in my family loved it and didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend this place!! We will definitely be back!!
