Everything was as described in the listing. Joe was easy to communicate with and was readily available to answer any questions we had about the property and area. Kitchen was nicely stocked with essentials and the beds in the home were very comfortable.
Just got back from the trip. One of the nicest and cleanest cabins I have stayed in, perfect getaway for 6. Location easy to find, everything was made easy for us, host communicated fast and kind. The pictures do not do this cabin justice, it was bigger and even nicer in person, the stars and the trout stream at night was the cherry on top. lots of places to hike nearby, would recommend to anyone.
Me and my friends absolutely loved the place. It was so cool to see everything covered in snow. It was private and we didnt have to worry about making a lot of noise. Plenty of space and for the price we paid it was perfect!!
This place is wonderfull, the accommodations our perfect and we love the location. The host is the best. All the amenities are there that you need.
Outside uncovered deck and the trout stream were our favorite places on the property. Hearing the stream was so relaxing! Very clean property with all you need. Water was no problem with filter in basement. Views of foliage was beautiful. Well decorated, pleasant, comfortable furnishings.
Everything was wonderful - easy to find, fantastic communication, beautiful home. Our only issue was that there were VERY limited items in the kitchen. We had to go out and buy pots and pans and a can opener. We made due with the 2 wine glasses and plastic cups they had. House should accommodate 6 adults but there are only 4 plates, no bowls and almost no cooking supplies (i.e. mixing bowls, fulls size pots/pans). If you plan on cooking, just bring your own supplies. Other than that, lovely stay.
Everything was great!
Listing doesn't do it justice. Beautiful setting, nicer than expected. Would definitely stay again. The stars were amazing. Loved the trout stream.
If you are looking for peace, quiet & relaxation this is your spot. Beautiful state parks nearby My only concern was the very strong odor of sulfur from the water in the house. Plan on bottled water. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here.
I love visiting cherry springs and finding cute homes to stay in. This property was great and super spacious! The owner was very responsive.
This little house is located in a perfect position to explore the state parks in the area! Property has everything you need to have a comfortable mountain stay!
place was great!
Great location, nice to unplug and enjoy nature. House was nice, clean, and relaxing. Very dark and secluded at night- nice to relax.
Water had a slight sulfur odor.....didn't bother us
Needs attention focused on safety. No front porch light, key only works on front door. Side door was more accesible with lighting and steps, but no key. Electrical outlet inside front door did not have a cover and would work only some of the time. Light did not work above kitchen sink. Unable to turn light on and off above dinette table, unless you unscrewed light bulbs. Quite difficult being only 5ft tall. Water had a terrible smell, water softener installer stopped by and tested water, he said there were high levels of iron. Should have specified to bring bottled water or had some available upon arrival. We were aware that there was not air conditioning. Fans were provided, however many windows did not have screens. The window in main bedroom would not stay up, needed proped. Therefore unable to cool home comfortably. Kitchen sink continuously dripped. The smoke detector alarmed on second floor and was a disposable, there was no battery accessible to replace. I needed to purhase a can opener! There were no cereal bowls, colander, or wine bottle opener (there were wine glasses in cabinet). No sugar for coffee/ tea. Keurig cups were provided. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We will not stay there again and would not recommend at it's current state.
Place was great, stream of back deck is the perfect touch. Everything we needed is there and the location is great.
Great place to be completely disconnected from all city's madness, the cozy remodeled cabin can offer you many things to do every day If you love to be in the woods it has so many trails nearby, if you love fishing it's surrounded by different places to do it, close to the Hospital, Antic store, Farms, Lumber museum, and more. Also, the Host is great and always answers your call to help you with all your necessities
