Newly remodeled historic house just steps from the WASHINGTON SQUARE! Sleeps 10!

I stayed here with my Brother, Sister and Cousin for two nights to attend our Aunt's funeral service. It was so nice to be able to unwind and reminisce in this beautiful home versus staying in hotel rooms. The living room, dining room and kitchen were my favorite rooms -very open, welcoming and bright! Truly just steps to the downtown area. After check out, my sister and I shopped at a few boutique-type stores and ate at the nearby brewery. We'd stay at the Heirloom again!!

Absolutely perfect place!

Great location, great property. Large rooms with high ceilings downstairs. Very open. Every amenity you could imagine, sound machine in each room, step stool for folks vertically challenged, washer dryer, air freshener in bathrooms, list goes on and on!

The thing I liked about this property was how some of the older features of the home were preserved while many conveniences were added. The house was very tastefully decorated. The upstairs bedrooms were so cozy and cute! I love the window seats, reading nooks, large closets. The kitchen was well supplied. Lots of little extras.

Our family stayed here and was the perfect place for our visit! Very nice and great location to the cute downtown shops and coffee shop!

The house was very cute. It's just steps from the town square with cute shops and restaurants. Comfortable accomodations with plenty of room. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook meals. However, the house needs a really good cleaning. The bathrooms and kitchen especially need cleaning and some repair. It appeared that they werent cleaned after the previous guests. It could be a 10 with some elbow grease.

Great house! Second time visiting

This charming home has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Scott and Beth truly go above and beyond with their thoughtful attention to detail offering useful local tips. The bathroom is stocked with essentials like cotton balls and shampoo, and the kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils. There are also plenty of cozy blankets to make you feel right at home.I highly recommend this property if you're planning a trip to Peoria but prefer the charm of a small-town setting. It's within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurant, and boutiques, and the Peoria Civic Center is just a quick 20 minute drive away.

It was perfect to come and visit our some at college.

The house was AMAZING! Arrived in the evening and many lights were on which was very welcoming. LOTS of space, from the driveway that can easily hold 3 cars (plus garage for 1 additional car) and street parking, to the entire house itself, it accommodated our group of 7 (5 adults, 2 children) very well. It was super clean, all the blankets throughout the house smelled great and were inviting. Beds were soft and comfy. Location is perfect. We checked out Down Under bar, which was really neat! Faire Coffee upstairs is great (closed Sunday), and the entire square is full of local small businesses which we love to visit when we are in the area. The only complaint we had was that we wished we could stay longer! We already booked it for our next time back! Thank you!

We were in town for a family birthday party and this house was perfect for us. They have done a great job renovating, keeping the beautiful historic features but making the home comfortable and convenient. Check in and check out were super easy. Everything was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had all the dishes for a large family and the dining room table was large enough to accommodate everyone as well. We hope to stay here again.

House is better than the photos.Old house, but everything modern you'd want (outlets/appliances/AC) and everything old you'd want (trim, decor).great location near Washington and Peoria. Lots of relaxing seating inside and outside.I'm hoping to stay here again soon!

Beautiful home. The house was very clean and lots of room. The bathrooms were big. The beds were very comfy. It was a great place for a sisters getaway.

This was an older home near the Washington Square. The house was completely and tastefully updated. It had lots of light and was very open. The proximity to the Square was perfect for shopping and dining. The kids loved the yard and big upstairs bedroom. Would highly recommend.

Great stay

Three generations of the family stayed here, 8 of us, and had a wonderful time! Everyone absolutely loved the home and all it had to offer. We felt very safe and welcome in the home. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of room for all of us to hang out together. I would easily stay here again or recommend it to anyone interested. It was also great being so close to the shops in town.

This is a nice house .Spacious for a family. Nice kitchen to prepare meals if desired. Nicely remodeled. This was our 2nd stay here and we would definitely stay again if we’re in town!!

We were in Washington for a wrestling camp with a group. This house had it all. Enough comfortable beds for multiple people and 2 showers to accommodate stinky kids . We were able to walk a couple blocks and have access to the square (restaurants, shopping and a local grocery). Overall a great experience and we hope to rebook for next years camp! Thanks

The home was extremely beautiful just right for our family vacation. The only issue I had was there was only one TV in the entire house.

We were in town for a family wedding. We loved the historic charm of the house that was kept but also updated with modern conveniences. We appreciated having shampoo, conditioner, body wash available in the bathrooms as this was something we forgot. It was very clean and the two king beds very comfortable. Walking to the coffee shop and other shops literally across the street was something we enjoyed. If we ever find ourselves in the Peoria area again, we will be sure to stay here again.

This house had absolutely everything we needed for our 2-day stay to visit family in Washington. Within walking distance to unique shops and cafes. Immaculately clean, very well-stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Plenty of parking space in a safe environment. We plan to stay here for future visits to Washington if it's available. Highly recommend this beautiful cozy home!

Great location near the Washington square. The house has everything you need & more with little decor touches throughout that made you feel at home. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of space to hang out in the living room and dining room. All bedrooms are extremely spacious with comfortable bedding.

We returned home for a family wedding. The property was clean, well supplied and easy to use. It's convenient to the local area. We would use this VRBO again if we travel home with our family again.
