Newly Remodeled Cabin Steps from Sylvan Lake

When we were looking at the last minute for someplace near Kendallville to stay, we never dreamed we would find a lake cottage! When I told my college roommates I had booked it, one sent back the listing to me with not available circled! When we arrived, we were delighted with a spotless, updated cottage. We will return and hope to stay longer the next time.

Plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies. Stayed 5 days, did not have to buy any of those things. Ample dishes, bedding, cooking utensils. Up to date appliances. Plenty of beds. Large TV. Enclosed porch. If the weather had been better it would have been a perfect vacation. Property is close to several good restaurants, a grocery store & gas is within amile or two

The Cabin was clean, organized, and easy to access. We had a great stay! Would recommend a toaster for the host :)

Thos was a very nice place to stay. I will be staying as much as possible while im working up in the area.

The stay was good, the rattling and creaking of the floors was a little annoying.

Such a cute little place! Perfect for our Thanksgiving get away with family :) Very easy to book, the host was great with communication and instructions for our stay, and the house had all the amenities!

Very quaint and cozy. The lake view was lovely and the enclosed porch was so nice to sit out on and read or write. It's the perfect little get away with places to walk and explore close by. A wonderful retreat and such a charming cabin. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

The property was as described in the listing. The host responded quickly to my questions. Our only complaint was the parking. We had a truck with a boat trailer behind and parking was very tight. The neighbors were very friendly.

We have a great stay. House was clean and comfortable.

This was the perfect stay for our family of four (parents and two teens). The kitchen was just the right size for vacation cooking and the grill was nice to use for a couple meals. Beds were comfortable and the deck was the best part. We ate every meal outside, watching the sun change over the water. The kayaks were a huge draw and we used those extensively. The bathroom was spotless and just the right size. Definitely would recommend.

We loved the newly remodeled cabin and the view of the lake was great. Place was properly equipped for our stay.

Front porch was really nice. We ate supper out there one night but was too cold the other nights. Plenty of parking space. My two boys, grandson, and my brother caught lots of fish and limited out 2 of the days.

Nice little place for my wife and I prior to a state conference. Good access to lake and kayaks were provided. Good proximity to Amish country.

We had a gorgeous fall weekend to enjoy the lake. We had a campfire, cruised the lake, and played games on the sun porch. We hope to make it an annual trip!

The cottage was cute and exactly the size we needed. My daughter and I needed a place to come to HLAA llama show in Kendallville, IN for a weekend. It was only 9.2 miles away from 4-h grounds.

This is the second time we have rented this sweet cottage for a long summer weekend. Property is very clean and is convenient to beach, grocery and is just steps from the lake. Beautiful views, quiet neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time enjoying this home and the lake. Everything is very clean, there is a lot that is thoughtfully provided, and the owner is very responsive to messages. Thank you for a relaxing trip!

My husband and I met our son here for a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed meals and games and sunrises from the screened in porch and kayaks on the lake. The grill was perfect for cooking up some fresh corn from a local farm stand. We would recommend the place to others and hope to stay again in the future.
