Newly built bayview home, steps to dock/launch on Great Pond - small dogs OK

Definitely not worth the nightly rate Stayed 3 Nights only because of the Falmouth Road Race where it was difficult to find other arrangements Ants were located the Kitchen, Bathroom, Basement and in the Main Living Area. Our 3 year old was left traumatized Rusty Dish Rack next to Sink Pots and Pans need to be updated A $900k house with Flea Market furniture Kitchen chair cover was ripped Floors were stained Terrible Beds which have been mentioned by other reviews for the past 5-6 years. The owner obviously doesn't care about doing anything to resolve it. Cheap, foam Mattress was in the Master bedroom. Sleeping on a pile bricks would be more comfortable Bushes need to be trimmed when backing out of driveway in order to see the road Miserable neighbor yelled at us for temporarily parking our Truck on the side of the road while we were moving cars

The furniture in the home all needs to be replaced. We refused to stay there because the condition was so poor. Called the property manager to complain and they said that we should see if we can rent it to someone else if we don’t want to stay there. Huh?!?! We asked them for some money back and they said that if it rented, they would return some portion of our money. They never put the listing back online to be rented, so we paid for the house for a week for nothing. The location is good and the house is new, it’s a shame that the furniture is so poor and the property management company has such poor customer service.

Prime location one house away from body of water… outside furniture could have been cleaned but we placed a towel to sit outside.Sofa should be replaced as it was ratty and first thing you see when you open door.However, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay… near water, ferry, stores and restaurants.

This was the second year we came back to this house for our family vacation. The location is perfect, it overlooks the Bay in is near some great walking trails that go right to the beach! The house is warm and inviting and very clean. We had another wonderful vacation in this house.

This property is wonderful. It is situated at the end of a very quiet dead-end street, right on the water. The home was extremely clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything that you need for a family vacation.

We left a day early due to the furniture in the bedrooms.I don’t see how this place could comfortably accommodate 6 guests. My wife and I are regular sized people. The beds simply are uncomfortable and neither bed is large enough.We slept so poorly, I slept in the adjacent room and we drove home the next day.This will be the last time we stay at a place that has a professional third party “property manager” responsible for the care of an owner’s short term rental property.This was the only complaint we had, but when you don’t sleep well at all, it is the most fundamental thing that matters when it comes to enjoying your time. Everything else about our stay was great.Informational item: the bathroom door and the second bedroom door are not closing. There are large cracks going uo the drywall suggesting there is something making the frame out of square for the door. This is something the owner would surely want to know about as it has potential to cause a lot of damage the longer it goes unaddressed.

This house needs some serious updating by owner. Ripped, old, stained, sagging furniture. Urine stains on mattress pad. Tv that didn’t work. Coffee maker didn’t work. Location was the only plus

Loved our stay. Great location and new home. Assumed three bedrooms, but has two bed rooms with sofa bed in living area. Very close to bay and walking path. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful! Hope to return next year !

The house was very clean and smelled good when we checked in. The living room furniture was not comfortable and had some stuffing coming out of the cushion and the piping was coming off. I had difficulty making the reservation and Vacasa was not helpful. They were suppose to let us know when we could check in but we never heard from them. I don't think I would ever rent a place that has Vacasa as the property manager again.

House was great. No issues. One away from Great Neck Pond which made for a beautiful sunrise every morning. Two full baths which is convenient. Plenty of towels. Everything there for you - kitchen utensils, dish and dishwasher soap, extra trash bags, it was amazing. So nice to have a washer dryer. Central AC was great. Awesome location, close to town and nice to walk or run down Maravista Ave to the Sound. Would definitely recommend the property!

We needed a little getaway at the end of summer and this was the perfect place! Great location! Great views! We enjoyed it very much. Photos were accurate.

We went here for our annual family vacation and loved it! The pictures of the property don’t do it justice, the views are incredible, and the place is huge! The house was immaculate, and the property was well maintained. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and there were shoreline trails that were great for strolling. It was only 5 minutes from the Island Queen ferry, but if we go again I think we’d just skip the vineyard day and hang out at the house (Martha’s Vineyard was so hectic and dirty, you couldn’t pay me to go back again). If you’re looking for a classic coastal New England vacation, stay at this house and explore areas like Woods Hole, downtown Falmouth, and Heritage Museum & Gardens.

The location was minutes to the beach and steps to the bay. The house was bright and clean with enough room for our family of 4!!!

I loved this home so much. I love the location. We will stay again and I hope to stay longer

2nd year renting this home, it’s just five streets away from our family. My dog love this more than our home, he prefers to relieve himself outside, opposed to normally on pee pads, he definitely respects this great stay. Love the walking path, we walk from the house down to Sopranos and back roughly four miles, great scenery and friendly people. The house was clean, plenty of room, air con, All the necessary amenities one needs. Even the pond access so we can bring the dog to is amazing. Only downside, no beach parking permit which would’ve come in handy

I most enjoyed sitting on the porches watching the boats come and go. Nice beach also. We'll be back!

This is a lovely rental that sits a bit above Great Pond in East Falmouth. It is spacious, well-equipped and just a walk from the ocean. We found it to be clean and perfect for a girl’s getaway. There were plenty of towels and superb showers. A truly delightful find!
