Newer Modern Lodge! Central Black Hills, 4 bdrms/2 baths-15 min. to Mt. Rushmore

This place was in a beautiful area...Close to Mt Rushmore and Crazy horse. Needles Hwy was amazing!! The house had everything that we needed to be perfectly comfortable!! Cooked dinner and BBQd...Overall Great Place...Definately recomend!!!

Nice house in a great location. Four bedrooms in each corner of the house along with a large open kitchen and living room area. I'd love to rank higher, but we had two big issues while we were there. The first was the fridge blew a fuse due to there being too much stress on the circuit. This led to all of the ice melting out of the freezer and leaking onto the floor. We luckily didn't lose any of our food but it created a mess. The second issue was around the smoke alarms going off due to the batteries being low. At 4:30 in the morning I was up on a stool changing the batteries in the bad alarm so my young children could continue to sleep. Both of these issues took away from what is otherwise a great property. Some preventative maintenance needs to be scheduled to ensure things like this don't happen in the future.

Beautiful place with a great location!! Host was accommodating with us! This place has just about everything you would need! Kitchen has everything you would want for cooking! We loved how it was tucked back a bit but close enough to the main road! Definitely would stay here again!!

The property was clean and as advertised. Our family enjoyed our stay with excellent accommodations.

The location was perfect and central to all of the sites we wanted to visit in the area. It was a peaceful place to unwind after a day of site seeing. We would highly recommend this home and the host.

We were in a wedding at the venue near by and stayed for the weekend. It was a great set up for the adults and kids.

Great accomodations

We took a family trip to the Black Hills to celebrate Father's Day, and our stay was absolutely fabulous! The house is beautifully laid out and had all the amenities we needed to cook dinner each night. The location and neighborhood were perfect—close to all the area’s main attractions, yet peaceful and welcoming. Yvonne is a wonderful host who made everything easy and enjoyable. If you're looking for a spacious, well-equipped home in a great location, look no further. We’ll definitely be booking this property again on our next visit!

My family needed a place to stay to attend a graduation and wanted to stay together. Wonderful location and great accommodation for a small extended family who wants to stay together.

We booked this cabin for a wedding weekend at Diamond Spur, and it was an ideal choice. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the venue and directly across from the Diamond Spur Lodge. With four bedrooms, the cabin comfortably sleeps 8, though the two bathrooms are a bit tight, making it challenging for a larger group to get ready at once. The kitchen and dining area are spacious, offering seating for 12-14, and the open layout flows into the living area, which seats 4. The front and back decks provide plenty of additional seating and outdoor space. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with all the essentials. We did have a bit of trouble adjusting the thermostat, which led to a chilly first night and a warmer third night, thanks to the fluctuating Black Hills temperatures. Overall, the cabin is perfectly located for anyone attending an event at the venue or exploring the area. The neighborhood is also lovely and quiet.

Love the layout of the house, location and ammenities.Forgot some food in frig. Sorry.Hate the king mattress. Need a new coffee maker, takes almost an hour for a pot.

We had a great stay & an excellent location for the events & sightseeing we had planned. The house was wonderful, nicely decorated & layout very accommodating. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, towels etc. All the beds very comfortable. The surrounding area by the house was gorgeous. We loved watching the deer that visited in the mornings & evenings. Yvonne was great to work with & responded to our questions or concerns in a very timely manner. Very much appreciated. We highly recommend this house & hope to return in the future.

This is our second stay at this property. The house is comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and well stocked. It is in a very convenient location to see the area. I highly recommend this beautiful house.

First of all Yvonne communicated with us with every detail we would need to stay in her home. Easy check-in, Meticulous house, So many extras in the kitchen-including coffee and the perfect location!! Although we were out all day long, it was so nice to come back to such a cozy home. We booked this home back in 2020 but had to cancel for obvious reasons. Thank goodness it was available now!! Book this home now!!!

Perfect location. Exactly as described

Short drive into Hill City! Great layout with 2 bedrooms by each bath. Open layout was nice with lots of seating for dining and lounging. Big deck was a major plus. Decent internet for light usage. Lots of TVs. Put put golf within walking distance big plus for our kids. Consider checking the schedule at the nearby event center as outdoor events can be pretty noisy. House was relatively well insulated for sound, but we could have had a dance party on the deck. Overall, really enjoyed our stay!

This has been one of the best experiences we've had in the Black Hills. We are 2 couple's that come to the Hill City area every year, and have stayed in several VRBOs. Our hosts, Yvonne, has been absolutely terrific!. Its close to many amenities. You will not be disappointed!!!
