NEW to the Market - Sweet Casa De Sueno - 3 BD 2 BA, Jacuzzi - Walk to the beach

My husband and I and two teenage sons visited my daughter at UCSB for Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed having a full kitchen to cook our turkey meal, with sides and pies! We ate outside on the relaxing back patio. We also enjoyed the hot tub each night. Our main disappointment was the drains backed up on our last two days and we needed a plumber to help try to clear them. We couldn’t use the toilets, showers or laundry at the end of our stay. I understand it happens, but a shame to have it on a holiday.

Beautiful home! Everything you need for a very comfortable stay in the house. Would highly recommend and would love to stay there again!

This is a beautiful property with a great location. The house was well appointed and very comfortable. The backyard is perfect for relaxing with a good book or a glass of wine by the fire. Its a walkable distance from the dog-friendly beach, coffe shops, and restaurants.

Property was great but weather was not the best so enjoying backyard was somewhat limited. Loved the artwork on the walls and all the dishes made available to your renters. The location of the house was great for walks, restaurants and route 101.Maintenance should be done on window locks and termite eaten boards.

Terrific place for family and friends. The outdoor space is wonderful. Firepit and heaters over the dining area made it perfect to be outside even when it was as chilly.

We spent as much time as possible in the backyard terrace - lounging in the sun, grilling, dining under the heat lamps, and taking late night dips in the jacuzzi. The neighborhood is close to the beach and the harbor and downtown but is very peaceful. This was a perfect spot for two couples!

Loved our stay. Location was wonderful with a short walk to the market, great bagel shop and a number of other local eateries. Quick trip to downtown (less than 10 min drive) if you want more action. Lovely neighborhood and ocean views are just a few blocks away.

Stayed here for a girl's trip. House was so cute! The backyard was AMAZING. We loved the jacuzzi and fire/pit table for roasting s'mores. The house came with basic necessities – salt, pepper, seasonings, etc. Which was great! And of course, we came the weekend Santa Barbara was 92 degrees (which is not the norm for that area). The house does not have air, so we spent the majority of the evenings outside in the backyard. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. There are beach towels to use (which was great because we didn’t pack any). We made sure to wash them before we left so the owner wasn’t stuck washing them. There is beach access less than ½ mile away. However - watch out for the many, many, many steps! Just when you think you are almost down the hill, the steps just keep coming. LOL. We spent the day at Arroyo Burro Beach Park (which was less than a 5 min drive). It is a dog friendly beach (off leash) – so if you don’t like dogs running around, this is not the beach for you. There is a restaurant on the beach which was nice. Also, I’m not sure if it had to do with the time of year, but the seaweed was really bad. Every time a wave came in, your feet would be tangled in the seaweed. We couldn’t even swim because it was so bad. We did spend one day downtown and on the pier. Over there didn’t seem to have a seaweed problem.

Overall great, would have like to have AC. I must have missed that when we booked it

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. The amenities were exceptional and the patio backyard area was phenomenal. We also own a short term rental property so are particular. We would rent this home again if if we ever came back to Santa Barbara.

The Mesa area of SB is great! This house is a gem situated in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to the ocean--be prepared for lots of stairs to get down to the beach which is best at low tide, but still fun at high tide too. The outdoor space at this house was the highlight for us, lots of seating, outdoor kitchen, hot tub ... and at the right times of the year fresh lemons and avocados growing in the yard! We made fresh lemonade that was the best ever! The inside of the home is decorated nicely and very comfortable. Walking distance to many stores and eateries as well, making it super convenient.
