The front lock code did not work. Had to use the spare key which was nice to have! Management got back quickly and changed the code remotely which then worked fine rest of stay. The house is a clean and charming place to stay nearby several things. Close to St Charles streetcar stop which was nice. Only thing is these old houses are not made for the cold and it just happened to be the coldest days of the whole month. Main level was in the low to mid 60s! There were two heaters there which was nice. They expected this. Even w both heaters in it was still quite cool. Master bedroom however was like 78-80 at times. Main thermostat was never set higher than 72. Parking space in carport is very tight may not accommodate larger suvs. FYI Shower tubs set VERY low in the floor and requires climbing ability. Not ideal for seniors! Management is very responsive! My family enjoyed their stay in this quaint old house.

A wonderfully comfortable and historic home. The details within the space were well done. The backyard was a pleasant surprise for late night gathering. We loved the location and found it effortless to be part of St. Charles Street and Magazine Street.Rebecca was a thoughtful and communicative host. We loved this unique house! We found it clean and in good repair, and it had all the things we needed. It's on the edge of the gentrified Garden District; the immediate streetscape is a little tired, but we never felt unsafe and it's an easy walk to a variety of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also walkable to the French Quarter, WW2 Museum, Mardi Gras World, and the beautiful homes in the Garden District.Parking is tight if you have a big car, but parking on the street right in front of the house works fine.Communication was ok, mostly automated messages (but we also didn't ask for much). Overall a great and safe place to stay while visiting NO and seeing the sights!

Comfortable accommodation, easy access to street car to explore French Quarter and Garden District. Although eating out often, the kitchen needs a few more pans. Shaded back patio great for eating Al fresco.

It was a lovely place, close enough to everything. I liked that we did not need to bring basic things like paper towels and toilet paper. I do wish checkout was a bit later for those that don't have an early flight. I would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It has a lovely historic feeling with high ceilings, pretty central staircase, and charming outside garden area. It was also nice to have a fully appointed kitchen and large washer/dryer. The property management and owner responded very quickly to answer questions and make us feel welcome. I highly recommend.

We get a house every year at Christmas in NOLA and this was among the best. Very spacious and beautiful back yard. I was worried the neighborhood would not be great but I was wrong! Great location near St Charles. We walked our dog at night and felt totally safe.

The home is clean and large. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of bedding. The bathrooms were clean with deep tub/showers. The backyard patio was a great place to have morning coffee/tea before starting your day taking in New Orleans. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this big, old home! There was plenty of space for our group of three couples. The neighborhood used to be a little rough, but efforts have obviously been made to clean it up and we never felt unsafe walking to and from our various destinations. Super close to the Garden district and also only a 20 min walk to the heart of the French Quarter (if you are walking- also a quick uber or streetcar ride as well). I would definitely stay her again. The owners were communicative and check-in was a breeze.

We enjoyed the property very much - had everything we needed, very walkable to French Quarter, Warehouse district, Superdome, cemeteries, Garden district. Just 2 blocks from the trolley. Loved the furnishings and decor! We did have initial problem with the lockbox, but that was solved with a quick phone call. Hot water heater was a problem one morning, but property manager got right on it and was working great same day. Would definitely recommend
