New River Haven- Riverfront, Hot Tub, Dog Friendly, Firepit, WiFi, River Tubes, Smart TV's, Games

The house was very clean and accommodating. But we our outdoor people and was really looking forward to the fire pit and patio area. Fire pit had not been cleaned, patio and furniture were filthy and there were buckets full of mosquito infested water beside and under the patio . Bottles and cans, someone’s old boots laying around. Very disappointing

Cute and cozy. Really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. Although wish the hot tub was on the upper deck. It was really cold running around to the bottom patio area to get in/out of hot tub in the 20 some degree evenings!

Host was very responsive as needed. House had basic amenities and beautiful setting.

Great spot by the river to get away from it all but still close enough to town to enjoy shopping & dining.

This is a great location, private and quiet.

It was peaceful and relaxing! Beautiful home with mountain and river views.

Place was great! It was not right on the river as advertised. You had to walk down a steep flight of step, cross a gravel road and then another long flight of stairs to access to river and chairs by river. You are definitely out of breath on the way up to the cabin! Also the hot tub looked alittle dirt the first night- the second that was confirmed bc the pool man stopped by and drained and cleaned it while us guys were on the river and the ladies were at the cabin. He said he forgot to do it the day before we arrived. Needless to say it was too cold to use the rest of our stay which was unfortunate bc that was definitely a feature we looked for when renting this cabin. Great place- not so great communication & service. Also they want a cash tip to haul off any garbage- which I think is getting a bit ridiculous.

This was an incredibly nice house to stay on the river. The inside of the home was spacious, comfy and very clean upon arrival. It's a very well-kept home. The hot tub was a fantastic addition since we booked the place back in January, and it was a great amenity to wind up having. We used it each night! The house is easy to get to and is in a convenient location to town. The steps, as described are indeed steep and numerous, so this wouldn't be the best option for anyone with mobility issues, but otherwise, it's a truly great home. The enclosed/gated deck was wonderful for the dogs to spend some time outside. We would definitely stay there again.

We came up to this property partly to visit our new Grandson and partly to get away from the hustle and bustle, this place fit the bill even though it rained, we got to see 6 deer one morning while having coffee on the big deck, the gas fire pit did work wonders for our wine and beer sips on the evening deck, well worth the money and will probably book again.

Second visit to this house and we enjoyed it. It’s a steep path to the river.

Our stay was almost perfect, but there is a major yellow jacket issue. We were stung on three different days for a total of 6 incidents: myself, my husband, and our 5-year-old. There is a large nest in the bottom set of stairs on the way to the river. I highly suggest y'all try to do something about it. We won't stay here next time, but we will stay in the area and are interested in other 4 seasons properties.
