This house is very nice only a few issues. Yes it does have an elevator but not sure it would hold a wheelchair. Luckily my dad can walk short distances so it wasnt a big issue. But it might be for someone else. The main living space kitchen n living aread are on 3rd floor.There is only really 1 fry pan the other is well worn and not really usable. The only other issue we had has nothing to do with the house but I believe people should know that if you just walk straight up to the beach from the house it is a surf only area and not allowed to swim or boogy board. So that was a bummer since we had my parents with us and they couldnt walk far for the kids to enjoy boogy board. My kids said the house was a castle and they had to guard it from the dragon that was across the way.

Fabulous management company! Nancy’s vacation Rentals went above and beyond! Minor issues with the property were reported and quickly addressed.

Our family of 12 -- 6 adults, 4 teens and 2 grade-schoolers -- had a wonderful time. The house is indeed luxurious, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating to share meals together, every bedroom has its own bathroom, and while the spiral staircase is beautiful it was really nice to have the elevator for luggage! We loved that we could simply go out the front gate and walk straight to the boardwalk and beach without crossing any streets! The wide courtyard with grill and hot tub was fun and relaxing. Warm water from the outdoor shower. Plenty of towels, boogie boards, chairs and kids toys to enjoy the beach. The property manager was quick to respond when contacted. We hope to return and stay again!

The location of the home was fabulous and the management company was great! The communal spaces were not that roomy and the hot tub was not hot. Every bedroom had a private bathroom, which was awesome! The host supplied beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys which was very helpful! They also supplied plenty of dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags, which some VRBO’s do not so we really appreciated that! Overall, we enjoyed the home!

This house was in such a perfect location-it's so close to the beach and bay and around so many restaurants and shops. Belmont Park was literally a 4 minute walk, the beach was even less than that. There was plenty of room for all of us and the fact that every room had its own bathroom was a huge plus! The beach is so close to the house so I wasn't surprised that there's still sand on the floors and showers; it's inevitable. The sheets on the bunk beds still had some sand tracked all over them, but no big deal. Some of the things were a little older and run down like some of the blinds and barn yard doors downstairs, but overall this house was perfect for our stay. The elevator was a plus for bringing things up and down as well. The hosts are so communicative which eased my anxiety.

This beach house is great. A 2 min walk from the water, and good sets of bedrooms. The host is communicative and nice. There are instructions on everything. The property has some quirks, the Internet was practically unusable, and the beds aren't great, but overall a very solid place to have family and friends for a beach vacation.

It was perfect

The house has an excellent location. It’s literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. The layout supported privacy, each BR with its own bathroom. Overall, a fine house. But leaks were evident when it rained. The hot tub thermostat was limited to 99. Limitations on the house thermostat were unseemly considering the cost of a week’s stay. Excessively long list of possible 250 fines, longer than at any VRBO place at which we stayed. (There were five other places.)

Amenities were in good condition and everything was accurate to the listing

Good location.

Host was very helpful and house had all the essentials. It got cold at night and the basement had no heat so the temperature dropped into the low 50s for sleeping. Although the beds were comfortable, to sleep 6 people for a retreat in a double bunk bed with a trundle with another full that fills the entire room is way too tight. We didn't come to party at the beach. We were there as a church group and although it claims to have a lot of beds for sleeping, I would not consider that satisfactory. The other bedrooms were wonderful as were the bathrooms. The stairs are very steep and all 3 flights are required to get to the kitchen and small family room. So overall it was ok for the money but would not stay here again.

We enjoyed how close to the beach we were. We could easily walk to the beach and near by food. However, it was not very clean. The upper floor smelt like fish the entire time. Several things were challenging to get to work such as blinds and showers. The bathrooms appeared to have mold in the showers. The layout was challenging for smaller children. Overall had a decent stay.

Our family from across the country was very happy here. The house had everything we needed and we cooked everyday there. We used every bedroom, and there was enough bedding for everybody. There was plenty of hot water and towels. Hot tub was great. Host communicated perfectly.

The house, including the kitchen, are spacious and a great place for a beach trip. They stock with beach towels and the hot tub was a hit. In a neighborhood where parking is brutal, having a spacious two-car garage is key. The location was good, but was near a busy street.

The top floor master bath was very nice. The 3 levels was not ideal for carrying things up and down and some of the beds were very uncomfortable. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub sadly.

The location of this house is great! Having so many bedrooms with private bathrooms is a plus for families. The house is quiet even though it’s on Mission Blvd. The hot tub was a great addition! The house does have very steep stairs so be careful with young kids and seniors. It does have an elevator which helps. The living space is not very large but the kitchen is very well stocked and clean.

Great location, nice outdoor courtyard and the elevator is a nice option for the 3 story home. I love that each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The house offers a lot of fun beach toys, chairs, shade options and a wagon to carry it all to the beach.

Beautiful home and great location for beach access. Close to everything we wanted to do on our vacation. Great for our large family! Floors were dirty due to sand residue and some minor things were broken but host was very responsive and helpful

Everything was great! There is a ton of space, lots of games and amenities, if we come back in a large group again, id love to stay at this property.

I was very happy with both the property and the owner. She and I spoke several times before the stay, and she was always fair, accommodating, and easy to work with. While she had a few understandable rules in place to protect her investment, she showed flexibility and was very reasonable as long as communication was clear.One area for improvement would be the cooling system. The home currently relies on individual wall-mounted A/C units, which aren’t sufficient for such a large property. Many rooms don’t retain the cool air well, making it difficult to keep the house comfortable, especially for sleeping. Upgrading to a central A/C system would be a great investment. We also tried opening the windows for airflow, but many didn’t open fully, limiting that option as well.Lastly, while not the owner’s fault, guests should be aware that there are a lot of flies on the patio area. We bought and hung four fly traps along the fencing, which helped, but there were still quite a few around.Overall, the owner was wonderful to work with, and the property has a lot of potential. With some improvements to the cooling system and minor adjustments, it could be an even better stay.

The property was perfect for our needs. We had 10 adults that stayed in the property, and 2 others that stayed nearby and visited during the day. We loved the location, all the beach items in the shed, the rooms, the grill, the hot tub, the massive garage and alley parking, plenty of tables and chairs in kitchen and courtyard, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and the elevator for heavy luggage. The property is a bit older and it shows, but nothing was a problem. The host was easy to communicate with and work with. This property is great for larger groups.The only nit-picky item that we had was that the fridge and freezer and the floors were a little unclean upon checkin. Nothing major, just small spills in the fridge/freezer that had not been cleaned, and sand everywhere on the floors (it's right by the beach, so there's going to be sand everywhere :D). We easily cleaned these up during our stay, and they didn't detract from our experience.

I loved that our entire party of 16 people could fit inside one home with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I also loved how close it was to the beach. The downside was there was sand all of over the floor of the entire home when we first got there. It was as if no one cleaned the floor prior to us getting there. I couldn’t find a mop, broom or vacuum cleaner to clean the floor myself. We just ended up wearing shoes around the house. Word of advice, don’t use the stone table in the courtyard. There is a small sign posted to the front door as you leave the house (easy to miss) that says don’t move the table and that it is extremely heavy. One person in our party sat on it and the leg of the bench broke. We now don’t get our deposit back because the owner needs to fix the bench. The table will be out of commission for the next few months, says the owner. So anyone that rents this place after the outdoor table/bench is fixed, just be careful.

Beautiful property that needs some maintenance. The elevator didn’t work, the window in the master suite didn’t close, the drain in the master bath was slow/clogged, the dishwasher wouldn’t turn on. There was so much stuff in the garage we couldn’t get two cars in. The WiFi was spotty such that I didn’t get messages from the host. This was only our second VRBO booking but, I don’t remember such draconian contracts to sign. We only had a couple of days to spend in Mission Beach so we chose this property after getting rejected by a couple of hosts, we should have booked a hotel.

Great stay. It was 9 of us total, plenty of room, great location, great amenities. Really enjoyed the vacation.

The place is great. Great location, nicely stocked. Comfortable beds and the jacuzzi is an added bonus.

Had a great time with 10 adults and 5 kids, great for doing some of our own cooking, and just a short path straight to a really nice beach. Minutes away from Seaworld and about 15 minutes to the Zoo. There is a quaint amusement park 1 block away. We were able to park 3 cars on property and to more for free nearby! Again, a fantastic time!

Overall the properly was great for our needs! Nice location close to the beach and plenty of space for all of our guests. The home is 3 stories and the stairs were pretty steep, so that was a downside. Owner was super responsive and nice to work with. Nice place to stay, would stay here again.

The home had plenty of space for us and all five bedrooms had their own full bath. Most windows had power shades; a big plus. Gas stove in kitchen annd gas grill in courtyard were great to cook on. Everything worked well, except the spa/hot tub. We didn’t miss it, though, as there were plenty of other things to do. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, the beach AND the bay. Great location.Hosts were very responsive to inquiries. The elevator was useful for this 3-story home.

Property was great and timely communication with property manager! The only negative was the traffic noise in the master bedroom. We had a great time!

Our family met here for Christmas. The accommodations are perfect for a big family. We cooked all our meals, the kitchen is equipped for cooking big meals. All the bedrooms are very clean with each bedroom having a private bathroom, which is a favorite thing our family likes. We hope to come back.

My family and I came to San Diego for Thanksgiving. I booked this well in advance and the photos they have listed were beautiful. It’s right between Mission Beach and Mission Bay so close to the beach we did lots of bike riding boardwalk there we did whale watching there are lots of things to do here. Bring your bikes. They have ample beach toys. They have ample big beach towels. The beds are beautiful and comfortable. The couches are lovely. The kitchen is huge and open, five bedrooms and six bathrooms could be better. Had to share bathroom when we walked in clean. They had ample utensils serving dishes and they had a washing machine upstairs and a washing machine downstairs. The kids had the best time ever our teenagers had the best time ever because you can walk to Starbucks, which is important to them ha ha It’s right by arcade amusement park. The teens were over there if they weren’t at the beach very communicative very friendly. They spell everything out. There’s never any question with check or check out. I have lots of things listed where things go. We’re definitely staying with them again this was the best , modern three-story house that my family and I have ever

I pray this review makes its rounds. This was a nightmare of an experience. The pictures of the house are outdated, let’s start there. First & foremost, this home is DUST RIDDEN & filthy! If you or anyone in your group has allergies or asthma, BEWARE, it’s a house FULL of TRIGGERS! They do not clean the ceiling fans, light fixtures, change air filters, clean ducts, there is mold on the ceiling in the master bath, the hardware in the bathroom has so much crud & filth. It’s absolutely disgusting. The dust was so bad, my 5 year old woke up in a complete asthmatic state. We had to rush him to the ER. The first thing the ER doc asked was about triggers and if we were exposed to dust or pets. I said, we are literally in a dust ridden home. It was a complete nightmare. The hosts are so rude. They lied about having maintenance come over to fix the disposal that was inoperable upon arrival. The kitchen was termite infested. When I told the host about the dust, his response was to “get a broom and sweep it”. When I told him the disposal was inoperable and making it very inconvenient to wash dishes, he told me to take them to the bathroom or outside to wash them. His attitude and lack of empathy is disgusting. Trust me, they only care about the money, don’t expect them to want to do anything, if you reach out and they lied to VRBO several times about taking action. Horrible experience, horrible, outdated and FILTHY house! If I could post pics, I would upload every single one! FILTH!

Great location, just a few steps from the beach! Plenty of space for the seven of us. Blinds in main living area on 3rd floor were frustrating but not a huge deal. It was nice having all en-suites and each one had plenty of towels. Didn’t use elevator or hot tub but nice that they were there if we chose to use. There are local companies that will set your party up with a fire pit, chairs, tiki torches, and all that you need for s’mores. Would recommend!

Location at short walk from beach was incredible, my tennis team of 16 men was a bit crowded, perhaps 5 couples for the 5 bed rooms would be perfect, but amazing place nonetheless

Overall the stay was great! A lovely amount of room and good amenities for our large party. Host was responsive when we had questions. The only challenge we had was that on our last night, the fire alarm in the house went off twice in the middle of the night. We had to call the fire department to come check it out and our entire party was awoken and had to leave the building. When I contacted the host they were sympathetic but did not offer a viable solution or compensation to make up for our experience. Overall, lovely home and gray stay. Just needed to get the faulty fire alarm system fixed!!!

We enjoyed our stay with the family. Lots of space for everyone and the location and parking was perfect. Would stay again with a large group.
