Stayed Sep 26, 2025Fantastic place and staff. Only issue was the hot tub was filled with bugs. We cleaned it out and still enjoyed. We would go back. Lovely facility and accommodations.

Stayed Apr 26, 2023Perfect place for a family get-together. The house was so clean, well-appointed and welcoming for our extended family get together. They didn’t miss a step while decorating the home. We had fun visiting the area even though we had so much to enjoy on the property.

Stayed May 6, 2021We absolutely adored staying here and had such a wonderful time celebrating with family. The cabin was super clean and beautiful and the communication process was very easy and the staff responded immediately whenever we needed them. The only thing I didn’t like was that the laundry was coin operated and cost a lot of money to wash a dry one load. That wasn’t expected and we came without coins so it was tough to keep our towels dry to reuse. Typically when we stay In Places like this, laundry is included in the price so that was a bummer. This was the only downfall though and we had a really great time.

Stayed Mar 18, 2021We went to get a quick getaway for spring break. Very beautiful resort and cabin. Hoping to come back in the summer. Cabin was very clean and kitchen is well stocked. Be prepared to bring your own towels and soap, but they do list that in the description. One downfall is we had to vacuum the cabin before we left. I've never had to vacuum after staying in a VBRO, but that wouldn't stop me from coming again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The property was clean and beautiful. I would recommend staying here for longer stays than just a weekend due to the amount of things you have to bring from home. We had a ton of fun and enjoyed the amenities. Some of the paddle boats weren’t working but we had fun with all the other water activities. Due to the necessary cleaning before check out and the amount of things you have to bring it would have been nice to have a little more time our last morning, so make sure to try and get as much packed the night before check out or get up early to get everything done before you leave the property.

Stayed Oct 4, 2019The accommodations were wonderful. We came in October and it was between seasons. There were times where the directions were unclear because of the time of our visit. For example, where to put our garbage upon checkout. We were a bit disappointed about the WiFi. We stayed in cabin 4 and were not able to get WiFi reception. Ven though the weather was rainy, the hot tub was a HUGE success!!

Stayed Aug 16, 2019Wonderful property for our family vacation. We loved having the paddle boats, kayaks, and paddle boards available for use on the lake shore. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the lake as well. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We ate in for all our meals and always had whatever type of dishes we needed. Owner provides a great reminder list of things to bring--each VRBO place we've rented has different things supplied, so it was nice to know what we had to bring. Be sure to bring lots of quarters for washer/dryer if planning to use ($4 for load of laundry and $3.75 for dryer). Nice grocery store in Blackduck--we appreciated being able to pick up groceries there instead of driving to Bemidji. They had everything we needed. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Great time for the whole family.
