There aren’t enough words to accurately describe this home! It’s absolutely PERFECT! The location is perfect for beautiful sunsets, the generous owners provide everything you could ever need to have the best week with your family or friends. There is a cornhole set, kayaks, a paddle board, floats for the pool, bicycles, etc. We’ve been coming to the Island for over 20 years and this stay was at the top! Every year, we take a sibling vacation, and St. George Island came up as a possible destination. With some research this property came up and it met all our needs. Beach and a pool to relax and hang out. If you are looking for relaxation and a nice place to put up your feet and hang with family and/or friends. This is the place to stay.

Wow, what an amazing place! The view of the sunsets was incredible and so close to the water. The pool was such a treat as well. The house was well stocked with all the toys we needed (Golf Cart, Bikes, etc). Will be back!

The house and the amenities were fabulous. The entire place was immaculate along with the pool, the outdoor shower, sink and grill which were all put to good use. The view of the Apalachicola Bay was stunning especially at sunset. Having the golf cart available came in handy along with all the other items available for use which was way more than I've experienced at other rental properties. This was our first time visiting St George Island and Apalachicola and the vacation far exceeded our expectations. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts for allowing us the opportunity to rent their house. Highly recommend the house, the hosts and St George Island. Would stay again without hesitation!

What's not to like. Next to the Bay, short golf cart drive to the Gulf and steps to the pool. Caught fish in both the Bay and Gulf. Used the on premise fish cleaning station to prepare caught Sea Trout for dinner. Beautiful sun set view from condo. Used the bicycles and golf cart to cruise around the Island. The state park at the east end of the island is beautiful. Always something to plan for the next day of your stay. The home is spacious, clean and well appointed.

This might be the most pristine vrbo property I’ve rented in 10 years. It felt like we were the first people to ever stay in it. Great location if you love fishing and kayaking. They even provide bikes and a kyak.

We really enjoyed staying at Walking On Sunshine. The home is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The sunset views are amazing. This was our first visit to St George Island. We would definitely rent this home again.

We loved staying at Walking on Sunshine with our family! We have 2 small children and we all enjoyed playing by the bay, the nightly sunset, proximity to the beach and also the pool! It was a beautiful home, very comfortable and had all you need to stay comfortably for a week. We loved eating dinner and breakfast on the porch too! Additionally, it was super convenient to all the things we wanted to do on SGI, and rented a golf cart for an easy commute. The hosts were incredibly gracious and we look forward to our next stay here.

Thoughtful and spotless home! Took advantage of the kayak and paddle board when we weren’t relaxing poolside. Perfect spot for the magnificent sunsets.

Took a few days to visit St George with family. House was not only new, but well thought out. Excellent for a family beach stay. 2 adults and 3 teens had more than enough room, great view of bay, easy access to everything, but lower traffic area. And if you do need a minute inside, a TV in every room and great wifi.

The home was exactly what we expected! Very clean, organized, and had the most beautiful view of sunsets on the bay. Will absolutely book again!

My family has went on and on about this vacation. Spectacular spot on the coast. House was immaculate. Plenty to do within walking distance. We’ve had numerous friends message us after seeing the pics on social media. Highly recommend! 5 stars! Thank you for sharing your place with us.

We had an absolute blast at this home! The house is laid out very well and decorated in a way that you feel relaxed. The kitchen was perfect to make dinner in with all the pans and utensils you need. We made a few meals and used the outdoor grill. The view is beautiful with bay views from all front rooms. You'll see people gather via golf cart or vehicle to watch the sunset. We even put out a crab trap, fished and paddle boarded right outside out door! The pool was a hit! The outdoor shower got used almost more than the inside. Instead of wet bathing suits or sand, just put your kids in there and have a clean dry floor in the house. Very responsive hosts. Will absolutely be returning!
