It was a big house spread over four floors. It is in the perfect location less than a minute away from the beach. Lovely restaurants and perfect location to explore the area. The house was clean, but needed airing as had been shut up for a while. It was very well equipped and everything worked really well. We had a lovely stay and the communication with the owner and instructions were excellent. Just to note the stairs are very steep and our son did lose his footing, so if you have young children you need to take extra time going up and down the stairs. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this house to anyone.

Spacious and well-equipped. We missed a separate sitting area from the dinning room, though. Frying pans and other kitchen equipment could clearly be better cleaned. All in all, ok property. Very easy, friendly contact with the owner (email). Still, Ambleteuse has very little to offer. Potholes lurk everywhere in the streets (and pavement!) and there is an amazing number of abandoned houses and properties which gives the village an undistictive flair which contrats unfavourably with the rest of the region.

Great accommodation in a fabulous location just a couple of minutes from the beach. I recommend this place to anyone wanting an easy holiday with children. Also would be good for a group of adults wanting a quiet retreat or into military history with the atlantic wall nearby.

The house is located in a quiet road at about 150m from the seafront of Ambleteuse and has lovely sea views from the 1st and 2nd floor bedrooms. The house has a garage where we could store our bicycles and car but parking is also easy in the neighbourhood. The living room had a television, wifi, and blu-ray disc player which meant that we were able to watch our videos as well as the television channels. We hooked up a games console to the television and this provided us with a lot of peace when the grandson was busy playing his games. There were, however, three flights of stairs to get to the top floor bedrooms which was quite tiring. The upside of all of these floors, however, was that it provided a certain privacy for all the occupants and a lot of space. Sheets were provided at a cost of 7€ per person. We had asked for the cleaning services after the stay at a cost of 70€. It would have been helpful if dishtowels had been provided as well, and maybe also eventually towels. It would also have been nice if we had been provided with a sort of kit containing a week's reserve of dishwasher tabs/salt/liquid, detergent, soap for the bathroom, toilet paper, salt + pepper. There were some things there but we mostly had to either purchase them (and then took them home with us) or had brought them with us. This is not at all a criticism because it is like that in most home rentals, but life could be made easier for temporary tenants, but then I suppose that this is an added cost which some people would not want to pay for. Contacts with the owner were excellent. We had arrived on a Saturday and noticed that the dishwasher was not working and a new one was immediately provided on Monday for our use. The deposit was refunded without delay, minus the money that we had to pay for the electricity/water, which was reasonably priced. We had a great time in this house located in a lovely region.

We stayed at Atlantis for my 30th birthday (8 adults and 2 children). The house was very well priced and suited our family well. We were very impressed to find all but one of the bedrooms had sea views and we loved the jacuzzi bath! The bonus of the holiday was finding that it was the fête d'ambleteuse on the day we arrived (first Saturday in August). The was a carnival, fireworks and more! It was a great atmosphere. The location was perfect. We could just walk out the door and were on the sea front in under a minute. At high tide, the beach was a bit dangerous for our children (3 and 4) with slippery rocks underfoot but once it went out a bit it revealed a gorgeous sandy beach where we had hours of fun. We were able to get to Ambleteuse from the channel tunnel in under half an hour as well as enjoying day trips to Boulogne, Calais, Wimereux, Cape Gris-Nes and Wissant, all also between 10mins and 30mins away. Just a few things to point out about the house itself: The stairs were quite steep, and with 3 flights of them, we wouldn't have felt comfortable with our little one if he was any younger - perhaps ask for stair gates if you have little ones? Also, we found that in the main living area, there weren't enough seats on the sofa for everyone to sit down together comfortably, which on a few occasions was a shame. The layout worked well for us with my husband and I on the 2nd floor, with our kids next door, and the rest of our family up on the 3rd floor. This helped in the mornings when our kids woke at the crack of dawn and we were able to put distance between them and the others who all valued their sleep!! Be aware that the house was rather echoey though. The owner was amazing. Great communication throughout the entire process of booking this holiday and was on hand to answer a couple of questions via email during our stay. We had a great time and we'd return again!

Our contacts with Anne-Christine was very good! She was always replying quick and very friendly! The house is really nice and clean and is very close to the beautiful beach! You can even see the sea from the house! We will come back here for sure!

We had a lovely week in Ambleteuse in Maison Atlantis. Close to the sea and in the middle of the beautiful coast of Pas-de-Calais. We were lucky with the wheather too so everybody had a great time. The house is big and has everything we needed. Beautiful bathroom en fine kitchen. Livingroom was cosy. No garden. We'll be back!

I had never been to La Côte d'Opale even if it's just a couple of hours from where we live. Encouraged by friends who fell in love with the area we decided to give it a chance. I believe that what made our stay at La Côte D'Opale a wonderful experience was in addition to the beautiful landscape, ATLANTIS. The owner made it a clean, comfortable and cosy place to live with all the necessary contemporary facilities: wifi, tv, dishwasher, laundry area. Bedrooms are comfortable and decorated with taste allowing everyone to feel at ease. We will chose Atlantis again for sure.
